nbalive744 wrote:knicks? wierd, i was hoping for the bobcats, but none the less, this dynasty will still be great (Y)

cheers, I will now battle ceekay and JohnWB (both Knicks' diehards) for supremacy

Cloudy wrote:Wow, you got some hot graphics! Good luck man... Go Nate Go!

cheers, although it's mostly illusion as my graphics ain't that great....player detail is high but most other things are on medium level settings....

Jugs wrote:The Knicks i see, this will be interesting, i hope you start Starbury at SG and Nate at PG and maybe trade Jamal for a big man that's effective :)

Nonetheless, this dynasty will be awesome

cheers....I won't be starting Starbury at SG anytime soon....gonna give the returning Knicks plenty of opportunity to perform....Nate will have to earn his PT like most rookies....probably won't be making any groundbreaking moves early, just get a feel of the current Knicks for much of the 1st season....

zmac wrote:We all knew you were going to do another dynasty (i think) but its still good to see you here! (Y)
My CF is on the way

cheers, and send the cyberface away....seems like I'll have quite a few NLSC ballers this year :P

pHLo wrote:hey X, looks great :D

i like the knicks, so i don't have any problem with u doin a dynasty with 'em ;)

i hope i got it right.... the NLSC-players who have been in your cats-dynasty will be included in this one, too ?
if not, i want to join your new dynasty again :)

it's always fun to be in a great dynasty like yours (Y)

Good Luck with the knicks, what do u expect ? finals ? :P

finals no....I'm hoping for a #7 or #8 seed at best....if I just miss the playoffs then even better :P let's see how this team sims I guess....

as for the nlsc part, yep, everyone who's in old one will be transferred across, probably in the 1st draft class, or 1st and 2nd, we'll see....

Thierry Henry wrote:Good luck man (Y) Glad you picked Knicks...

cheers, glad you approve

drunkmofo123 wrote:good luck my man, hope its just as good or even better than the bobcats one! (Y)

don't know about that, but I'll try my best

He uses photoshop 9.0 Cs my friend told me about it that u can make it look more realistic

it's not photoshop 9.0, it's a much earlier edition....thanks to Seraph's pointers I now know how to crop and resize without losing picture quality :P

what, "Most Valuable Porter"?!? :?

Mark #6 wrote:I look foward to this first game recap X, *Makes a wish, hoping it will be tonight*

no chance mate....just got back from bball and I'm screwed....team only had 5 players, no subs....game was 4 10 minute quarters, only 1 minute break inbetween quarters, only 2 minute half-time break....I'm already unfit, but this was ridiculous....maybe to score 25 points though, so that's alright, but unfortunately my trey failed me in the 4th as I had no legs left and we lost 66-56....

on the bright side to the dynasty, I'm almost finished adding the missing players and assigning them their cyberfaces and the sliders are about ready to go (thanks to Sit who provided me with his and I just edited them to suit)....

Good luck with the Knicks, X... Hope you fare better than I did with them last year...

And I'm always in for in-game participation as a rough-around-the-edges, elbow-flailing behemoth-center.

There are only 3 things I like about the Knicks...

Trevor Ariza, Nate Robinson and Quentin Richardson.

Saying that....
NATE ROB FOR ROY......T-REV FOR MIP.

I'm hoping I don't fare as good as you did, at least early on that is as you killed....

and yep, there's almost room for a Greek who's rough around the edges

he'll definitely be my 7th man to open the season, but with training could become the Knicks' starting SF of the future

Nate won't win ROY and Trev probably won't win MIP unless there is some boilover or major injuries or shakeups to the roster....I like those 3 guys too, especially Q as I've followed him since his DePaul days when he was a 20 and 10 guy

funny you should mention that as I was wondering why I wanted to do a Knicks' dynasty and then it dawned upon me that you had planted the idea subconsciously by having me on the Knicks in your dynasty  who knows, I might have to bring back that signature headband in the future :P

as far as the team goes, yep, I always have to go with an average team at best....

finally finished my roster guys....took a little time, but missing rookies are in, so are their cyberfaces, salaries are updated to include new signings and the new Amnesty rules, so that no waived player's salaries affect their old teams, and a few other minor adjustments....

with that said and done, I'll probably start dynasty off this weekend and hopefully get my 1st dynasty post by sunday night....probably something to do with hiring assistants, filling out roster etc (Y)

cheers

probably just straight in I guess....I'll learn the game on superstar as I go  could be some early struggles ahead for the Knicks then

I didn't actually add all the rookies, just the signed ones....guys like Vazquez and Roko Ukic will probably be added in about 2 or 3 season's time when they would come over in real life :P

Happened to me too! That's why I'm holding off on the regular season until someone releases a new up to date and stable roster.

Good luck X and when you finish working on next years draft, let me know. I'd love to add it to my dynasty too.

problem with that is that I think the problem is that you can't safely edit dbf's with Excel anymore as I didn't use Habb's roster like you, I used my own....my saved roster before dbf-editing works fine, but the one after using Excel seems to be corrupted....

this is a potentially big problem for this dynasty as I can't add rookie classes without Excel as I can't use any of the other dbf editors for some reason....

not good (N)

Sorry to hear that, I need your take on the rookie class to keep my dynasty in check

I hate dbf commander, how it automatically saves after every tiny little change you make. Just hafta be sure to be perfect and not make any mistakes....that's all (Y)

no probs Devin, will help where I can....

also in regards to the dbf-editing and dynasty crashes, I had to re-do the dbf-editing in DBCommander and it seems to have done the job as the dynasty hasn't crashed....although I did lose many hours of Live time so dynasty won't get started until tomorrow :x
