KG: Could be best year EVER....

Postby ctinsley12 on Sun Sep 25, 2005 2:28 am

I just read an article online from HOOPSHYPE.com that KG is bigger than ever before. Getting drafed out of high school in 95' KG was 210 lbs. Last year he weighed 220, this article says how KG now is 253 lbs. Thats scary, 33 pounds of muscle. It also says how he will be playing alot more at the PF position. Check it out. At hoopshype.com, Friday , Sept. 23, St. Paul Pioneer Press. (It wont let me copy and paste the link, sorry)

This has nothing to do with NBA Live 2006. As most of your posts don't. He gained 33 pounds in 1 off season. Uh..

Ok dickhead. There's a rule that you can't be a dumbfuck and to post it in the right fucking section. How can you have 0 common sense and not be dead already?

Post "whatever the fuck you want" as long as you put it in the right section and doesn't break any rules.
This is not about NBA Live 06, so it belongs in the NBA Talk.

nba never gets his measurements correct. he says he's "6'13". shaq said he was 7'1 some time (forgot when, maybe some all-star game?) he has been 220 for about 6 years, if you go accordingly to the nba.com/espn type websites. he wants to deceieve others: those that "take advantage" that he's "just" 6'11 and 220. and it was a semi-serious talk when he said something about he being listed under 7 foot tall to play SF.

if he truly is 253, he probably will look rather skinny. built, but still "skinny." nonetheless, it'll be a season of triple teams for him.

Garnett was 210 when he came into the league and now he is 253.

Garnett lies about his height so they don't tell him to play center.

I wonder why is KG not playing center? Shaq is on the east and Yao is not that strong i think this is the time for a change. Look at amare hes what 6'9 or 6'10 and plays center and effective. If KG played center for the wolves instead of that BIG BUST kandi i think it would cause more trouble on the opposing teams.

Wouldnt 6'13" end up being 7'1" anyway??? Correct me if I'm wrong.

He should play where he's most comfortable and feels he can contribute to the team the most. I think he's earnt that since he's been such a great player. Even at his "natural" position.

He's gotten some muscle into him (I hope it's muscle...not off-season fat)

Still though, with his already amazing post-up skills, imagine if he has some weight to help him out. He'll almost be unstoppable, and probably have one of the best all around player in the league...he earned me a lot of points in fantasy basketball last season too  keep it up kg!

Hard to imagine KG ballooning to an overweight 253 pounds so I guess it's muscle. Can't imagine it hurting him too much since he'll still be quick and agile. The Timberwolves' fortunes go beyond KG though. He's a fantastic player but for the team to be successful everyone else is going to have do their part. I don't think they can become much better simply through improvement on KG's part though that's obviously going to help.

. Just imagine someone trying to score on 7'1'' Ben Wallace. That's called a rape.

imagine someone actually being a 7'1" Ben Wallace with the offensive skills of a KG. That's called a carbon copy of MJ.

I'm pretty sure KG was 240 lbs last year. If he was 220 lbs, at 7'1, he's look like a stick...
