....yeah BEST EVER...in one on one showdown! He may be the best player today but he will never be the greatest player. He is to selfish to play the game on the first place. One on one he can break somebody's ankle. Period. But this game is a team sports, so unless he develope a game that makes other people great (like what Kidd did to the NJ kids), he will be that guy who has all the skills, and an empty heart the win.

when i get it?? Memphis......... why??? because even though they left vancouver, they still feel more 'my' team more than anything. Its just not as fun cheering the Kings when you don't know where Sacramento is 8)

damn heisley, that bastard stole our team!!! Vancouver gave them good attendance for so many years wat do they expect when after 7 they suck just as much??? I think Vancouver gave better attendance in the Grizzlies last year than Memphis does now.......sheesh

Is Arenas filipino??? sounds it almost, but i doubt it.... i remember one really good dude who tried out....... we're too short

Mcgradys nickname was sleepy and Mcgrady is better than Kobe, its not even a comparison. I would compare Kobe to Stack or Finley or Allen, he just plays more stylish, and, oh yeah, has Shaq. Look what happened to a Shaq-less Penny.

Kobe going into his prime??? wait till Mcgrady goes into his prime then. He's a year younger (or more?) than Kobe and younger than STeve Francis too.

Give the kid a break he's still young alot can happen between now and forever...he could very well end up being the best ever....or he could end up being a Dominique Wilkins.....or he could get over shadowed by T-Mac

Postby adchu on Tue Nov 19, 2002 7:00 pm

I use Rockets, while I love in using Magic and Wizards...

Yao Ming and Yao Ming. Yeah!
Grant Hill and Grant Hill! Yeah!
Jordan... he is slow in all-star mode in nba live 2003.

franchise

Postby scholt on Wed Nov 20, 2002 3:30 am

hey magius!

i use memphis too!
i dropped the wiz

i changed the team alot though, now have 286,000 pts to buy a shooting guard after season!

starters:
d gooden
p gasol
battier
giricek
j will

t prince
r alston
s swift (stud)
j white
d dial
d garret

p gasol is out for 3 games (with my injury system) but we still beat the spurs (duncan dbl teamed scored 8pts!)

we beat the sonics last night in 2 ot's, swift had 30 pts and 22 boards!! a record for me, but i exited without saving in my excitement!

i play on allstar 7 min quarters

m.i. out

i am using phoenix suns cos i am a big fan of penny!!!!!
trade bo outlaw for wang zhizhi(he's a good player, but overated in live 2003)
god, he shoots great three!!!

for the discussion about kobe, well! i don't like him, i can just say he's a good player, doing a lot of crossover.....he got 3 rings, but that most because of shaq. you can see, now the lakers is without shaq, then they have lost many games!

when compared ot MJ, i remember that some years ago, the bulls lost pippen and they still won games because of MJ, so u can see the difference!

I use the Cleveland Cavaliers (Ricky Davis & Dajuan Wagner), Philadelphia 76ers (Allen Iverson) or Sacramento Kings (Bobby Jackson)... :)

What color is the sky in your world, PlzHlpPortland? Cause out here in the Real World(tm), the sky is generally blue.

Portland is a team that's long on talent and short on brains. Like Barkley said of them "They run like deer, they jump like deer . . . they think like deer."

Portland is one trade away from being the best team in basketball. If they can unload Stoudamire and a couple other guys (McInnis? Dale Davis?) for a legitimate starting big man (Olowakandi?) they'd be the best team in the league. They have a guy on the bench (Zach Randolph) who has been dropping 30+ a game in the summer league. If they don't free up time for him he'll end up another Jermaine O'Neal... pissed off about no playing time and an All-Star as soon as he leaves the most talented team (and the most talented division and conference at the time). Portland is a great example of how a team can be TOO good. It's almost a blessing that Pippen is old enough to be asking for LESS minutes... he's playing fresh every night. If only Derek Anderson could stay healthy... Portland will finish the season with homecourt in the first round... Ahead of LA, Ahead of Seattle, Probably third in the West behind Dallas and Sac. Prediction: Portland in the Western Conference Finals... probably against LA. Cannot see past that. The dark side (Shaq) clouds everything.

As a native german, there could be only one Team to play with: Dallas with Dirkules and Bradley !!!!!!!!!

And when I don't want to play with Dallas i choose a team ranked 20-29. Maybe Cleveland or the Bulls

Postby Nocxic on Sat Nov 23, 2002 3:23 pm

Aight yallz, i just gotz to yell my piece about kobe, and mcgrady and all of these raw talent kids, but first my franchise. i have 3 going, Seattle being my Fav team, and G.P. being my favorite player, i had to take the sonics. I think i can get them in the playoffs. But then, another of my favorite teams, and i think easier to get in the playoffs.... the magic ( i really like McGrady, and hill on the court together) If i could trade gary to this team, it would rock!!!!!!!!! Last but not least, Memphis. i like this team for the long term, like i'm looking for a ring by my 5th year.

So about the Kids.. Everyone know, that having all that raw talent, and atheleticism helps alot, and usually thos players go thru a phase where they shoot alot, and learn the game. some of them still shott alot, but the assists get better, and the small things. It all changes when the start knowing the game mentaly, and that when they really grow. Kobe, and T-mac are both gonna get alot better, and, and i'm llokimg foward to years of awesome battles between the two. DAMN...............

I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!

Oh YEAH, P.S. MJ is still the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have total respect for his love of the game, he doesn't play at the same level, and he get's paid less money. Just the fact that he can handle coming of the bench, and not leading the league in scoring. he know's how valuable he is On the team. If i played at the level he did ya'll, i try to play till i was on one leg, and had to use a wheelchair. i would go all the way back down to streetbal from the nba. I'm tellin you man, I LOVE THIS GAME
