Way way way overpaid! We needed him back but not for that much.

I respect that he waited so that we could have cap advantage for signing other guys. BUT $53 MIL for 5 seasons, thats fuckin alot!

It's still a pay cut isn't it... He had a ridiculous deal before this one. Something like 14 million or something.

Now, it's only 10+ million per year.

That's too much. We could've got him for $7M IMO. But it's all good since we're secured at the C.

Man, only if I was 7 feet tall, a decent player, and I'd still be richer than most talented players in the 6 feet range.

Overpaid? Yes. Would someone else have paid this much for a pretty solid center? Yes. Did Cleveland desperatley need to re-sign him? Yes.

he's not a bad player, and if anything he's overpaid only by a couple of millions. He's a pretty good player when he's healthy.

they needed to resign him. sure he's overpaid but he's still a top 10 C. Considering what Foyle got this is a bargain.

Solid starting C's don't grow on trees. There's alot of money to be made for being tall and somewhat coordinated.

That made so much sense yet it's still funny. A testament to how bad the talent level is at that position

There are worse cases of overpaid players in the NBA at the moment. Cleveland have already re-tooled, $53 million over 5 years is something they can afford for Z, given that he's probably one of the top five centres in the league...if only because of the lack of talent in the middle these days.

anyway, 53mil is a shitload, especially for him, however i do agree with indy... and to a lesser extent mikki, but if he was offered on $35m i think he wouldve gone to the free agent market
