and did i read correct that you hit a half court shot that bounced off of the rim 3 times???

You read that wrong. Posey hit a foul shot that bounced off the rim 3 times and in. Iverson's halfcourt shot hit the rim once and, unfortuantely, didn't go in.

Yeh Miami is stacked, just for interest both Miami and Philly were rated 99. However, I think Miami is slightly better fit to win the title this year. I need to make sure that doesn't happen.

Yeh good job in your debut. 7 minutes and a free throw made. Hopefully Rick Adelman will make sure that you get your minutes.

Yeh AI did not get as many points as you usually see from him. Also low assists totals, but he got his share of steals.
And btw ur debut was better than any of the other NLSC players. Besides me, of course :D .

Yeh Iggy has been awesome in my dynasties and eventually he'll be the superstar of the sixers once AI and C-webb retire.

colickyboy wrote:man, kobe101 is starting! very nice debut for yourself, cwebbiverson (Y)

Kobe101 had a stat boost or something and got that starting job. My debut was just a season debut, not 1st game like you guys.

Sensation wrote:Not a good debut for me. Tough loss for the team, better luck next game cwebb. Hopefully I'll see some screens of myself. :)

Hopefully you will do better next game Sensation.

Simmed the game against the Rockets. We won 111-99.

Here are the boxscores.

Sixers Boxscore
Rockets Boxscore

Btw Eddie House has signed a 2 year deal with Phoenix. To make room, the Suns cut Quinton Ross, who was then picked up by the Clippers.

Next game will be Sixers first home game, game after that Philly goes on the road against Al Harrington and the Hawks.

Sixers pull one out.
Dalembert has bad game, but shot at end seals victory.

Chris Webber had 28 points in Philly's victory

PHILADELPHIA, November 3(Ticker) --The Sixers fans got to see their defending champs for the first time since they beat the T-Wolves, and they watched a great one. Toronto and Philly traded baskets all game in a high-scoring shootout. Everyone played, and everyone scored for both teams (See how many pts each player made in the "box scores" section). But, of course, the game came down to the final moments.
The Sixers were trying to burn the clock. But when they did that, they did not play defense and the Raptors almost caught up. Then Sam Dalembert hit a fadeaway shot that stunned the Raptors. They would however, come back for their shot. Then they fouled Sam "Sensation" Keon, who failed in this kind of "hold the lead" situation against Miami. However, Keon was determined to make those free throws. "I relaxed, focused myself, and made those two shots," said Keon, who had 10 points. "I think those shots helped us win."

Next games are at Atlanta and vs. the Heat.

Atlanta should not be a problem. However they have a bunch of good Spurs players on their team (the finley trade.)

air wrote:Great game by Webber but I'm a bit more surprised by Krstic.

Yeh Krstic was awesome off the bench. Very good backup for Dalembert.

Sensation wrote:Good game for Webber and I did pretty well. Hopefully we can keep it rolling.

Yes and u made those free throws down the stretch. :D

Webber had a very good game, and hopefully he will have more games like that.

Also some info on the draft. The first NLSC players to join the draft will have a higher rookie rank and a better chance of getting drafted.

yeh he did well against the raptors.

simmed game against atlanta. won 102-85. here are the boxscores...

Sixers Box Score
Hawks Box Score

Next game will be against Miami, currently with the best record in the NBA, at 7-0. Some other news around the league....

The Hawks release J. Edwards
After Tony Delk was injured and Smush Parker had to start, the Hawks were looking for another PG, and Edwards was no need for them, the reason why he was cut.

yeh the first person to get me their CF is going to get the highest projected draft pick. take your time with the CF, and the first pick for 05 was Bogut.
