Philly at 9? That's a huge disappointment. I think Miami will beat Indy for #1.

Nets arent going anywhere unless they get someone inside , I don't think Jackson and Collins are going to hold it down , even though Krystic has a bright future ahead of him.

And Bobby's last? I don't know about that. Hawks'll still be bad and the Bobby's got some good draft picls.

Sorry. I still maintain that the Raptors really fucked up the draft. They should have picked Granger at 7 but failed to. Then they got a second chance to get him at 16, and still passed on him. I'm not complaining but that was a real mistake. Villanueva is a decent player, but he won't be better then a 6 and 4 guy this year. Graham will be a very good player in the league, but right now his game is too much tailored for the College level. In 3 years he will be a very solid starter. I still don't see a point guard for that club, I don't see anyone other then Bosh who can put the ball in the hole consistently, I don't trust Mo Pete at all, and I think the defense stinks right now. Rebounding will be a problem too. Maybe if Magloire was acquired they would be a lot closer to the middle of the pack, but... we all know how that went.

Mostly agree. I would've put Miami higher but I remain skeptical of the "stacked" blueprint.

Ignoring playoff seedings:

1. Indiana
2. Detroit
3. Miami
4. Cleveland
5. Chicago
6. New Jersey
7. Washington
8. Philadelphia
9. Orlando
10. Boston
11. New York
12. Milwaukee
13. Charlotte
14. Toronto
15. Atlanta

West:
1. Spurs
2. Kings
3. Suns
4. Rockets
5. Nuggets
6. Warriors
7. Mavericks
8. Sonics
9. Timberwolves
10. Clippers
11. Lakers

14. Blazers
15. Hornets

Wow Memphis is real low on that list. Otherwise its pretty good switch the clippers and twolves and Kings Rockets and there ya go.

There's no way the Kings are #2 in the West cause they barely play any defense. I'd put the Rockets, Suns, and Nuggets ahead of them, in that order.

The Warriors are too high - I know they were great at the end of last year, but all they really have in the frontcourt is Adonal Foyle (he just sucks), Troy Murphy (plays more like a SG), and Ike Diogu (he's good, but he's just a rookie), and I doubt Baron Davis is gonna play all season without suffering an injury.

The Sonics are a little too high - they're not gonna be as good as they were last season w/o Nate McMillan, Jerome James, and Antonio Daniels (and possibly more).

And the Jazz and Grizzlies are too low. The Jazz had a pretty good line-up last year, but injuries killed them, so w/ a healthier squad and the possible addition of Devin Brown, they'll have a solid team next year. And I don't know why the Grizzlies were ranked so low - they lost inconsistent Stromile Swift, injury-troubled James Posey, and hot-headed White Chocolate, and added Eddie Jones, Damon Stoudamire, Bobby Jackson (all 3 are solid veteran role players), and Hakim Warrick (possibly the steal of the draft). I think their only real mistake was letting Earl Watson walk, but Stoudamire and Jackson more than make up for that. They're gonna be a lot better than they've been the last couple of years, and might even be able to win a playoff game.

Well I think the Knicks are a little too low. They have one of the greatest coaches ever right now and they have 2 trading baits for the trade deadline- Penny Hardaway and Tim Thomas. I think they will make the post season. Maybe 7th, maybe 5th, but we will see a new Marbury this year that will help his team :!:

What does trade bait have anything to do with the rankings? You don't rank a team based on trade bait.

if the rankings are for the end of the season then in a sense they will trade to get better improving there final rank. Now if its for the start of the season, then ok they fine where they are.

Mostly agreed. (Y) Good that the Warriors are at 6th. They deserve it because of B-Diddy and J-Rich. They will be moving up as the years go by. :)

Well I'm going to see how low Memphis going to be this season. This will be the best team the Grizzlies have had since moving to Memphis chemistry wise and we haven't recieved a rating that low since the first year or two in Memphis when they actually had a bad record. :shake:

Yea, Memphis could go either way, they appeared to lose much more talent than they gained this offseason, but they were stacked last year which probably hurt team chemistry. I have them above Minnesota, who i believe will struggle no matter how well KG plays.
