Denver improves once again. They've certainy one of the best lineups in the league, but they also have a lot of potential chemistry problems. But Spree is certainly worth of the risk.

He is worth the risk but they still did a grat job on signing him. We'll see how the team turns out through out the season with Spree on their line-up

Mon Aug 29, 2005 3:54 am

Damn! Denver got a good line up there. I give them props! (Y)

Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:01 am

Wow that was a bit of a surprise, I thought he'd be a lock for Detroit. Awell, hopefully he won't cause too many problems there and with the altitude his kids won't be as hungry (Y)

Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:05 am

I though he was going for Detroit too but Detroit only had space for one player and they got Dale Davis

Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:21 am

Good. That's one more team heading for collapse in the West like Minnie did last year, making smoe playoff room for the Warriors. (Y)

Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:33 am

yay!!!!GO DENVER!!!!I'M DEFINATELY GONNA BUY TICKETS TO THEIR PLAYOFF GAMES!!!!:)

Don't hold your breath... Spree might have murdered Karl by then.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 5:24 am

Damn. I was REALLY hoping he would go to Detroit. O well.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 5:46 am

Good signing for Denver i dont think Julius Hodge coulda came in and done as good a job as Spree.

He said the only way he would come to Detroit is if he was the starting Shooting Guard and if he thinks he's better than Rip he can fly the fuck outta michigan. The Pistons signed Maurice Evans the Guard from the Kings.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 6:05 am

Are there any Pistons haters like me that really would have loved to see a Sheed/Spree combo without Larry Brown to hold them together?? :D :D :D

Too bad.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 6:08 am

This just adds more fuel to the Denver-Minnesota rivalry.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 7:03 am

I'd like to see how's the contract, money and time... :?

Mon Aug 29, 2005 8:47 am

melo, martin, spree man im gonna love seeing these guyz go at eachother and the refs

Mon Aug 29, 2005 9:20 am

That's surprising. I never thought that Sprewell will signs with the Nuggets. Well, this is a good move by the Nuggets. Hope they can shock any team they face during this season and playoffs.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 11:00 am

How many years is he gonna sign for?

He might be the missing piece to their lineup or he could screw things up even worse.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 12:04 pm

It's not offical, it's just a rumor by a Minnesota reporter (sid hartman) who is known for making some false claims. I heard Sprewell and his agent are going to meet with the Lakers brass soon.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 12:12 pm

Sorry but i have not heard about this at all.....are u sure that this was true before u posted this????!?!?! I just saw a wbsite that said he might go to the lakers (Y)

Did it happen to be this website? Oh man!! You're really good at reading posts right above yours!!!

Teach me master.

LOL Indy . anyways good signing for denver if it does happen , but i doubt he would go to the lakers since he would have to play behind kobe and odom , so i guess denver is the only place he would actually go too.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 2:47 pm

If you were the lakers, and sprewell joined, would u have Mckie or sprewell at point..or would you put kobe at point and sprewell at sg??

Mon Aug 29, 2005 2:50 pm

I can't really imagine Kobe or spree playing the point that well . But under Phil's system , i don't know if it really matters.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 3:21 pm

lol if kobe was running the point i don't think anyone else would touch the ball on offense

Mon Aug 29, 2005 3:26 pm

Sprewell isn't a point guard, we tried that in the playoffs and it failed big time. Garnett and Hoiberg were more effective at PG then Sprewell.

Mon Aug 29, 2005 5:47 pm

I heard Spree likes Denver because him and Camby are tight.
