Magic Beat LA In a Comeback

The Orlando Magic beat the Los Angeles Lakers 107-100.

During the third quarter, the Lakers had a 16-point lead and none of my players where making any shots. The game was pretty much out of hand and looked like another loss was approaching. But then, a 14-0 run led by the passing, rebounding and scoring of Jason Kidd and a crazy-layup-3point play by Ronald Murray gave us the one point lead. From there, we didn't look back. At the end of the game the score was 107-100. Dwight Howard had another great game finishing with 24 points 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. Flip Murray once again showed that he can play against the best of them scoring 24 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.On the other side, Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant both scored 27 points with help from Devean George who scored 22. Jason Kidd received the Player Of The Game award scoring 23 points and racking up 10 assists.

Magic Beat The Mighty Mavs

The Orlando Magic beat the Dallas Mavericks 110-99.

Tough, close game until the last couple of minutes. The Mavs, led by Michael Finley, were unstoppable through out the game but once again we prevailed. During the game, unfortunately, Dwight Howard gets injured and has to leave the game. He finished the night with 17 points and only 3 rebounds. Kurt Thomas had a great game scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. As for the Mavs, all-star guard Michael Finley finished with 24 points and Stackhouse with 22. With minutes left in the fourth, disaster stikes again. Jason Kidd drives it in and gets clocked by Dampier. The injury forced him to leave the game. The Player Of The Game award went to Kurt Thomas who had 20 points 10 rebounds and left Dirk Nowitzki to only 10 points.

It has been reported that Dwight Howard's arm injury will cause him to miss one game. The doctors said that he will not participate in tomorrow's game.

It has also been reported by team doctors that Jason Kidd will also miss the upcoming game due to back pain suffered in a collision with Mavs C Erick Dampier in yesterday's game.
