Now that Dale's gone to Detroit, i say David Harrison..he should get enough minutes to make an impact..

He's high on my list if he can get minutes on that team.

Also Travis Outlaw, Marcus Banks, Kwame Brown, and Joe Johnson is basically obligated to break out.

hmmmm

I agree with alot of the people already mentioned above, its hard to say the Wade's LeBron's, Stoudamire's will have "breakout" years because they already have broken out!

Some unmentioned names:

Josh Howard in Dallas

Luol Deng in Chicago

Either Mike Miller or Shane Battier in Memphis will step up big (I hope for their sake)

Jarvis Hayes in Washington

Raja Bell in Pheonix (pending they dont get Finley)

Chris Anderson in New Orleans...

I think these guys could improve 10 fold this year...

Andre Iguodala is at the top of my list. For some reason I think he will not only have a good offensive season, but his defence will be right up there with the best D guards.

Kwame Brown. With all the attention on Kobe he should be able to get open as Kobe penetrates. I see a 15 and 8-9 season for him.

Joe Johnson, should get around 20 per and 5 of each rebs and asts. Shouldnt be hard in Atlanta.

I hope Hughes has a better shooting season, and I think LeBron could get around 9 or 10 asts with Hughes and Donyell on the team.

And I hope Maggette, Al Jefferson, Anderson Varejao, Travis Outlaw all have breakout seasons.

How can you have the ball in your hands a lot when Kobe's on your team? Everybody knows Kobe needs to pass the rock more often and take less (forced) shots.

its pretty easy to have balls in your hands if your with kobe.....

and your right, kobe has to learn to stop shooting prematurely. hes not a teenager anymore.

, but I still think it's too easy to basically just say all the good second year players names, that's what some people are doing, but those are a little too obvious.

More or less :)

Naw, I can just see them having monster seasons where they dominate the league. It's not guaranteed to happen, but I'm expecting it to happen (monster seasons, not 40 a game).

i think the past 2 years i've mentioned pietrus hehe. he should get the PT or at least i think he will since he's the only wing player on that roster that wants to play defense.

baron davis is a believer in the frenchman so that's a good sign

i agree.. JJ as well as K brown are obligated to break out

marcus banks, who was my sleeper pick for ROY way back when haha, sounds like a good candidate once the dust settles from the PG situation in boston.

i think ridnour could break out as well now that daniels is out of the picture

and deng for my bias pick :P

I think Tyson Chandler will get a starting nod and have a sensational year.

Going the homer way:

Bobby Jackson. Other names were already mentioned so there is no need of mentioning those names again.

how about this.. since you doubt chandler's signing so much, let's have a bet:

barring he dies, when chandler resigns, you change your SN to "chandler's bitch", your sig to "I pleasure myself thinking of kobe bryant".. i haven't decided what pic to put in your avatar yet

if he goes to another team, i'll change my sn, sig, and avatar to your liking

sounds like a great deal to me

I don't undertand this pick at all. He's not young, he's not going to get starter minutes this year, what in the world is going to make him "breakout". He already averaged 15 | 3.7 | 3.1 on year, he'd have to average like 20-4-4 for anything he does to be considered breaking out, and at 32 years old, it's a little odd

lol@ Michael Olowokandi. Still havent given up hope?

i say

Kwame Brown- he'll do something that will make us say that he isnt a complete bust

Michael Pietrus- this man needs to start. All he lacks is an offensive game but that will develop in a starting role. His defense is superior, i bet Joe D is already preparing a contract for him when he becomes a FA.

Chris Bosh- He's had some good years but this year he's the #1 option in toronto from day 1.
