Magic win; Break 4 game-losing streak

The Orlando Magic beat the Detroit Pistons 88-86.

On Jason Kidd's first game as a Magic, he clearly didn't dissapoint. He played a great game getting his teammates involved and scoring as well.
With 1:15 left in the game, the score was 88-84 Magic. Both teams couldn't score and were missing shots until Tayshaun Prince sinks a shot just inside the 3pt line. Score 88-86 and in a Magic turn-over, the Pistons get the ball back and call a time-out. 8 seconds left, Billups takes it up the court, takes the jumpshot and as he is jumping Pat Garrity strips the ball away! Magic win!! Dwight Howard finished the game with 22pts-5rebounds and 5blks. Jason Kidd had a stellar debut finishing the night with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists earning him Player Of The Game honors.

Image Magic's STATS:
C Howard-- 22pts-5rebs-5blks
PF Thomas-- 14pts-7rebs
SF Turkoglu-- 11pts
SG Murray-- 10pts-4stls

Magic Lose Without Thomas

The Orlando Magic lost to the Boston Celtics 97-90.

After ending their biggest losing streak of the season and getting a win against the Pistons, the Magic lost to the Celtics 97-90. Dwight Howard dominated once again finishing the night with 29 points 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jason Kidd also had a great game with 22 points 4 rebounds and 6 assists. On a bad note, Flip Murray has not been consistent this season (12 points tonight [336% FG season]) after being injured for the first 3 games. Kurt Thomas did not dress up due a day-to-day injury suffered last game versus Detroit. Horry filled in on the starting spot. Paul Pierce was the Player Of The Game finishing up with 38 points.

Very tough, another loss. The jersey switches actually look better. The Magic look nice in the lighter blue.
