why chicago didnt retire his jersey well in fact his the rebounding machine of that team???does scottie retire in chicago if yes when?

I'd hope the Bulls retire Pippen's #33 in the near future; I don't see why they shouldn't (or wouldn't). I don't know about Dennis Rodman though. He only played for the Bulls for three years, though his contributions were an important factor in at least two of those titles. He wasn't quite himself (in terms of basketball, at least) during the 1997 campaign.

But he leads the rebounding department for those three seasons with the bulls...does attitude affects the retirement issue??if yes y?if he plays really great in terms of basketball is concern I mean only basketball...

The honour of having your jersey retired is generally reserved for players who meant a lot to a team for a long time; Rodman was only a Bull for 3 seasons.

I agree. Players who contribute to the team for long periods of time: Stockton, Jordan, Robinson, Elliot, Magic and a lot more

Important to the team, he really was. Plus, he had Spur pride and returned after a serious health issue. Greatness in measured not only on the court, but also beyond. (Y)

But a career average of 14 and 4 doesn't get you onto lists that include MJ, Magic and guys like that.

I don't think Artest will ever do anything worthy enough to get him into the Hall Of Fame, but I think Stern's a professional so if that's the case he'd just go with it.

Because Kemp have not officially announce his retirement yet. Also, Kemp is consider to make a comeback this season. So he probably won't retire until 2008.

I'm guessing he thinks Danny Granger will take his roster spot in a year or two and go on to win those 12 championships for himself.
