Um...
1. The Amnesty Rule doesn't allow you to double-dip. So you can't sign back Brian Grant.
2. Lakers? Don't know if they can even make the playoffs at the current state.

Kwame could change into one of the best power forw....... You wish. Dreaming isn't always healthy, the reality bites you in the butt quite rapidly when you do so.

While were on the subject of one of the best Power Forwards... Amare Stoudemire 35ppg next season... Or more. Mark my words... San Antonio couldn't stop him in the playoffs and they won the title... He will dominate and Nash and Marion will gladly give him the ball and watch the man-child go to work slamming the ball on anyone and everyone.

They can get a point guard..they have enough $$

They better get signing then. Also Kwame Brown had 4 years to show off that he wasnt a bust, but he showed me nothing. Maybe he can start fresh in LA LA Land. As for Bynum, i like to see this kid get minutes and start over Chris Mihm. If they have enough cash, they better get signing. Almost all the decent PG are all gone.

Well...if you look at kwame's stats, each year he improved....03-04 year was his best...i wounder why...maybe someone by the name of Michael Jordan was on the team...Once MJ left then you can talk about how bad he has been..i mean come on..he was the first high school player drafted number 1...give him a break!!! He didn't exactly go on a playoff ready team!!!

As far as Amare goes...yeah he is a good power forward...the only reason he will average that many points is because most of their offence is leaving ( Q , Joe )

6'6'' half Italian-half Australian with Brian Grant's haircut? Well, that's... original.

I'd also have to grow my hair about 3 feet longer to achieve it, but I'd be willing to make that sacrifice.

Right, so having Jordan on his team stunted his growth but going to a team with Kobe wont? LOL...kobes going to do exactly the same thing.

Bynum's still supposed to be pretty raw, so I wouldn't call him one of the best young players in the draft. Kwame could explode but that's still a What If for the moment; he's got a long way to go. They don't have much to spend in free agency though, they've over the cap by at least $11 million.

by 2007 lakers will have a shitload of cap room and they'll spend it on chris bosh who's likely to bail the raptors after seeing the crap that rob babcock has done in toronto.. is there a less qualified gm than this guy???

If it isn't Amare Stoudemire or Yao Ming, it's Chris Bosh. How about everyone just keep the oh so awesome predictions regarding LA signing some oh so awesome player to themselves? Hell, they can't get rid of Bryant for another 7 years with that huge contract. :(

Atleast LA still has one star I suppose.

Yeah, as I've said. It's always a possibility. If LA has the CAP space... they could always have a chnacer to get Yao or Amare.

i really dont think that the lakers will go for the high profile stars in 2007 just becuz they tried that 2 years ago and it didnt work..i think they will release players that havnt played well for them and get alot of really good players in place of what other people are saying about 1 super star

As far as making cap room goes, it's no better than letting him sit on the bench until his contract expires. The Allan Houston exception doesn't offer cap relief, only salary tax relief.

Unless something really weird happens in Houston and Phoenix the coming season, I don't think there is any way that either Amare or Yao would sign with another team. They are practically guarranteed the maxed out contracts they will get when the time is right (can't exactly remember when they can sign new contracts to the guys still on their rookie contracts).

Amare is the head honcho in Phoenix and he's the number one option on offense for the team and he will simply dominate. Yao on the other hand is Chinese and I believe that the upbringing will make him next to honor bound to Houston.

If the teams show these two players the respect and the cash they deserve, they will probably not even give it another thought.

I am looking for Yao to bring his game up a couple of notches next season... The fact is that they have now Stro to take some of the pressure off of Yao to score some points from the inside. This will probably make it mentally easier for Yao and that correlates to better shots and less forcing his game...

I don't know if Brian Grant has any games left on that body... He has been injury plagued for so long that he will most likely at best get the same kind of a role as McDyess had in Detroit last season.

Then you havent been paying attention to your team. They are trying to sign people to small length contracts that all end in....2007. Put it together, they are gonna make a run for Yao.
