Oh SHIET. Maybe they won't match it. Pargo did great in there playoff run would be a nice fit behind Hinrich. Hopefully we can get Duhon though (y)

I would be absolutly shocked if the Bulls chose Pargo over Duhon.

Duhon started almost every game for the Bulls.

But maybe tomorrow they'll be an article on this to clearify the signed offer sheet to Duhon. Didn't you guys sign Eddie Basden ?

part of me wants the bulls not to match it. since duhon was a 2nd round pick, the bulls have to use part of their MLE to use it.

i'd much rather have the team use the MLE to sign a better impact player and my guess is that finding a backup pg would not be difficult

but since the team seemed to do well whenever duhon started and chemsitry had a lot to do with the bulls winning, i hope they resign him.

Duhon or Bonner, Duhon or Bonner. Man, that's a tough choice. I'm rather intrigued by Duhon, but didn't we already sign that Spanish point guard?

yea, but he's new to NBA, and he doesn't really speak english, so i'll take a him a little time to get used to it. So the raps needs another PG. The spanish dude can be the 3rd option.

They're both new to the NBA, although we've seen what Duhon can do. Bonner, though, could be a consistent Brian Cardinal and keep the fans in their seats.

Naw man I wanna see him as the 2nd option. I heard good stuff about him and he is a rich man's Earl Watson.

Also what's the deal with Uros Slokar if anyone knows. Is he staying in a raps uniform, nbdl or going back to europe to train? Hopefully he can go back to Europe so he can develop a better game.

Here is the raptors lineup so far ...

C : Araujo - Woods - Williams
PF: Bosh - Villanueva - Sow
SF: Rose - Graham - Williams
SG: Peterson - Murray
PG: Alston - Calderon - Williams

Duhon and Hinrich did a great jobs together in last season. But because I don't want to see Gordon to win the sixth man of the year again this season. I want to see him as a starter. Please Bulls, don't match the offer.

Too many Williams  I like the team, reminds me of a poor man's Detroit, with no center, and less talent, and that just leads to nothing  If we can play smart ball, play the bench, run and gun, and play with intensity, then we might be ok.

Yes, i'm also excited to see this guy, and i've also heard good things about him. But, remember, we also heard good things about Darko and look how that turned out. We've already seen what Duhon can do in the NBA and his' proven that. So i think signing Duhon this year for a 2-3 year deal won't be a bad idea. As for Alvin, he's a true worrior, but i don't think he's coming back to the raps, at least for this season.

Hopefully are man CB4 can lead this team and also I wish Mo Pete good luck. He is our offence and defensive weapon. Another person to mention is Rafer Alston. Let's just forget about the past and wish Rafer the best this season as well.

Rafael Araujo ... what can I say about him ? He is still fouling alot. In 22 min he got 4 fouls for his National team when he played vs Canada. He has gotta work on that and did like he did in College. Play with alot of aggresion, score and rebound.

Also I think its the end for raptors Alvin Williams. This injury has screwed up his career and he might not return this season too. I wasn't a big fan of him but he was a decent player.

Well the Raptors already made their choice, but I don't think we'll get him, Chicago will likely match. I really don't know what's going on with Bonner anymore.

Shame about cutting into the MLE, but I like the idea of keeping the core intact, especially since Duhon's not going to account for the whole exception.

but what impact player will sign for about half the MLE?

if i were paxson, i'd at least keep my team in the running for a player like finley.

i expect duhon to take a lesser role as next year due to gordon & deng will have their own roles expand... plus you factor in basden, who may very well be a hassel close

either way, it's not the end of world
