Table Tennis is a Chinese favorite. If 3 billion people like it, then it's popular!!!

Volleyball, I don't understand... Maybe Brazil's populations brings the number up... :?

Football is BY FAR the most popular sport in the world.
About the second one.... it could be volleyball or basketball.

Golf and Tennis in many countries are "upper class" sports, so they cannot be popular worldwide. Rugby and American Football are played massively in very specific locations, and so is Cricket.

That's what I think. :P

I wouldn't be surprised. I actually had rugby and cricket popping in my head as potentials, but wasn't too sure.

smart business man

there's a great chapter or 2 in a jordan book that shows what stern did to help the nba get back on it's feet. though magic, larry legend, ervin, jordan had a lot to do with it hehe

I think he should increase the drug tolerance levels and the disciplinary actions of the league. You cant have players getting caught for DUI's or spending jail time and coming back to play, theirs gotta be some sorta specific NBA associated rehab or laws set in these instances. Players get 1 year to life time bans in soccer for drug offenses, one example Adrian Mutu of late and Rio Ferdinand(I believe he just missed his test).

The NBA honestly needs alot more discipline, on the court words and some pushing and shoving can be allowed but you gotta stay respectable off the court cause their are millions and millions of kids that do idolize players, well maybe theirs more like 10 kids that idolize Alan Henderson but still.

I think Ron's ban was fine but the fact he let Ben Wallace 'off the hook' was wrong, he definitely should have got more games for fight instigating.

All in all, the best commisioner/chairman/league owner in sports.

I believe B-ball's only behind soccer and tennis in terms of popularity/people playing.
