Saras signed with Cavs?

"When Ferry got an agreement from Lithuanian guard Sarunas Jasekevicius, he made the Cavs one of the top three teams in the East."

The jury is still out on this one... but it's the consensus that the only two teams vying for his services now are the Pacers and Cavs, and after the larry Hughes signing, I think Sarunas will indeed sign for the Cavs.

Oh yeah. Now everyone will see the amazing power of SuperSaras. Cavs will have a super solid team this year and will certainly reach the playoffs and perhaps even a level or two more.

If they indeed signed him, it is almost sure they will reach the postseason!

C: Z
PF: Drew Gooden
SF: LeBrina
SG: Larry Hughes
PG: Sarunas

That's one hell of a team.

Actually, yeah, that does sound like a good team. Not so sure about the bench, though.

How can everybody be so sure Sarunas will succeed in the NBA?

I saw him play in the olympics and saw some of his games in Europe, but I don't see how anyone can be so sure he's going to be a great PG. The only thing we can be sure of is he is a great shooter.

I say if the Cavs get Saras they become the 6th best team in the East. Behind Miami, Indana, Detroit, Chicago and New Jersey.

Not to mention, amazing court vision. The guy has some nice passing skills, but I'm not sure how many assists he's capable of racking up, though.

NJ wont be ahead unless they get some decent help in the paint. Toss-up between Chicago, Boston and Cavs for the 5-6-7 spots.

Nothing remotely official yet. Just the general consensus on what's about to happen.

Let's hope rumor will be offical soon.
He's outstanding player.Cavs must reach to the playoffs man.Pretty solid starting five on paper. I think he (saras) plays well in NBA,although Brown said something different  (you stupid shit!)
Good news to me,if its gonna happen.

He's not that athletic.. how can everyone be so sure he will do well. If he is utilised well, we may see some big numbers...

bench = luke jackson(injured last year, haven't seen him play much since college but has a chance to be decent)
vareajo(pretty solid guy by seeing him play last year, has a chance to take gooden's starting spot)
eric snow(average defense little offense)
tractor traylor(big body down low but a slimmed down version of oliver miller which is never a good thing)
ira newble(above average defense, no offense)

looks like a pretty weak bench to me... :?
PPL r a little feisty these days:D

Drew Goods will prob be traded....hes not good for the cavs defense and we dont need his offense.
But still a very solid team...even if we dont get Sarunas who im not keen on. Id rather Daniels/Stoudamire.
