Payton then would be better off to sign with the Spurs and get his ring there.

Why? I think he'd suite LA better :)

payton said that at least his stay in miluwakee was not a "life sentence."

Nice to know.... Good sign :D

LA, where he wouldn't even handle the ball because Kobe does. I don't think so.

I wish GP wins a ring with NJ this year (Unless GS does :P) That way if we lose Gilbert maybe he wants to come to his original Oakland and finish his career here.

Gary Payton: Unlikely to stay in Milwaukee, unless they get a new owner. Spurs and Warriors probably have the strongest case for him. But now that he's been traded, I think he will consider everywhere.

James Posey: I suspect he will stay in Houston. There he can concentrate on the best aspect of his game (his defense) and plays a key role in the development of that team.

Michael Olowokandi: Most likely to the Spurs. Only team his agent has spoke about taking a pay cut to play for.

Corey Maggette: Most likely to Denver.

Elton Brand and Lamar Odom: Most likely will stay in Los Angeles.

Andre Miller: May go to Utah, lowered market value might keep him in Los Angeles.

Juwan Howard: Denver likes him, but I wouldn't put it past him to go elsewhere to try and win.

Jason Terry: Stays in Atlanta unless they stupid-up and let him go.

Tim Duncan: Will stay in San Antonio.

Gilbert Arenas: If he wants to become part of something great, should stay in Golden State. Is linked to Denver as well, which should be great, but take more time.

Theo Ratliff: Should stay in Atlanta, he's tied to Philly though. Would be an absolute steal if they could get him for the mid-level.

Richard Hamilton: Will stay in Detroit.

Reggie Miller: Will stay in Indiana or retire.

Elden Campbell: Should be lots of people wanting to pick him up, would be a nice pick-up for the mid-level.

Keon Clark (player option though), Vlade Divac, Charlie Ward, Bonzi Wells and Rasheed Wallace: Are not free agents...

Rasho, Wally, and Scottie: Should stay where they are (Wally is more than likely back in Minny), though Rasho could be swayed by big bucks from another team and Scottie may be interested if Los Angeles does try to get him.

this may be a bit biased but it'd be awesome to see Pips, Killer Miller go to the Lakers.

MJ should stay in Washington until they win a championship but play in a reserve position.

For some reason I would love to see MJ in the playoffs, maybe for him to show how far he can carry a regular team, not like those Bulls that had great players like Harper, Rodman, Pippen & Kucok among others, or Paxon, Cartwright, Grant & Pippen.

If the Wizards make the playoffs, they will only last four games. They will have to play the best team in the East and the pending Eastern Dynasty...;)

It's the East!! The Wizards can beat any team in the East like every team in the East can beat the Wizards. We aren't talking about the West here. Think about all the talent that this team has. And we all know that MJ's game will go up a notch in the playoffs. It wouldn't be tough for them to go far.

We know this how? He's not getting younger, and the season could show it's wear and tear.
