If Knicks release Houston, Cavs could sign him for 5 years/50million. That would be gangsta
It would also be a major paycut for Houston.

If Z is worth that much, I wonder how much Amare is worth for the Suns and the league?

I'm neutral about this signing.

Z's getting that much because a) he was already on a huge contract and not very willing to back down, b) there aren't really a huge amount of good C's left in the league... if he stays consistant and injury free he's reasonably dominant (if that's possible).

I don't think the product matches the price, but awell it won't hurt Cleveland having him around for another season or two before he breaks down and becomes a 7'3 Kerry Kittles.

Whoa that was so funny, he will be earning less money! I can barely contrain myself :lame:

I guess they figure or hope?) they can use him for a sign and trade with lebron if lebron does infact want to go elsewhere... but if they cant, and lebron leaves, they will be stuck with hughes and zydrunus after overpaying both of them.

Houston's incredible contract will always be funny for people who live in the New York area.
