This probably means Cleveland will make a harder push for Sarunas... Come on Saras, come to a team with a chance of competeing for the ECF, don't go to Cleveland just because you're friend plays there...

Yeah Saras, listen to IndyPacers67

Suns didn't offer JJ the maximum. Joe&LeBron, that would be one heck of a duo.

3 words:Good Luck Redd
Fri Jul 08, 2005 4:54 am
Shame, I would've liked to see LeBron and Redd playing together. I guess Milwaukee's gonna be a pretty decent team though, with the addition of Bogut.
Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:05 am
Bad move by Milwaukee, Redd is not a max-type player.
Fri Jul 08, 2005 7:54 am
Plus Terry Stotts is pretty close to being Milwaukee's next coach...
Fri Jul 08, 2005 7:57 am
I thought Redd would have looked good in the red Cavs jersey.......

I think LBJ will look better in purple and gold or Blue and orange in a year or two...

Is TJ Ford playing this coming season?

Is TJ Ford playing this coming season?
yes, most likely. If his back holds up, that's a whole new ball game..
Fri Jul 08, 2005 1:48 pm
Blue and orange in a year or two...
You mean the Bobcats, right?

uh... bobcats would be Orange and blue.

Bogut, Smith, Mason, Redd, Ford should be a decent lineup. They have a bit of upside.
Fri Jul 08, 2005 2:45 pm
Lets also hope Toni Kukoc can sparks off the bench.

I agree! let's hope they trade Larry Hudges for Joe Johnson
Fri Jul 08, 2005 7:50 pm
Great news for the Bucks. I still don't agree with ousting Porter so soon though.

Overpaid. The guy is a shooter not a playmaker...
Fri Jul 08, 2005 11:44 pm
Does anyone else detects a bit of that Allan Houston karma in him? You know, 'big-bucks-for-a-second-fiddle-who-will-fuck-everyone-up-if-he-gets-injured-which-he-surely-will' type of thing...
Sat Jul 09, 2005 1:04 pm
either that or he'll come back next year overweight due to a cocaine addiction.

they didn't resign him to be a playmaker
anyway, i keep reading these overpaid comments. lol doesn't that go without saying? prospecting teams set the market value for the FA's and it's up to the original team to decide to match or not
it's a no win situation for the GM's: they resign the guy, they get shit for overpaying him. they do a sign and trade because they don't feel the player is worth the big contract (i.e- kmart, jcrawford) and still get shit for it
Sun Jul 10, 2005 3:57 am
Well, I think they got more shit for the players (?) they got back for K-Mart. The GM's got shit because the Nets screwed themselves up badly with that trade. What did they trade him away for? A couple of picks orso?
Sun Jul 10, 2005 4:04 am
not a uncommon practice.. trading an overpriced player for marginal players, some with expiring contracts, and/or draft picks
the nets hardly screwed themselves over- it helped them get vince carter.
