Some advice- for the background, they're pretty simple. Even though they look cool sometimes, it doesn't really grab the attention. Try downloading brushes from deviantart (put the .abr file in your C>ProgramFiles>Adobe>yourversionofPS>Presets>Brushes folder). Set the search part to "Top Favorites" instead of "Most Recent" to get some good brushes. Then you can load those brushes when you choose your brush tool in PS, click on the different brush types, then go to the little arrow and choose replace brushes, then find the ones you downloaded. That's how most people make designs.

Ya'll people got mad talent. Makes me want to get Photoshop and make some stuff myself. Though I don't have the money . . but of course there is 'another' means of getting it, I've been having trouble 'acquiring' Photshop. Ya'll seriously have inspired me to try this stuff.
