Redd got a max offer from the Bucks, but will the Cavs steal him?

Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

Yeah and Bron sent video tapes to him and Ray Allen. I think Redd will stay with the Bucks, Bogut's the type of player who will get him open and he will stay the number 1 option i assume in Milwaukee.

With the Alonzo Mourning/Juwan Howard situation in Miami back in 1996 as the precedent, would signing Redd prevent the Cavaliers from re-signing Ilgauskas? If that's the case, I'm not convinced it's a great move.

That wouldnt happen if they signed Redd.
Cleveland have over 25mil of salary to spend and Ilgauskas want wont more than 5 or 6mil leaving around 20 mil spare.

I was under the impression Ilgauskas was after more than a potential six year, $30 (or so) million contract which would work out to be $5-6 million per year. Also consider they'll need to sign other players and the Bucks can offer Redd a much bigger contract.

IMO, if Redd would like to be a Superstar, he'd stay with Milwaukee. But if he wants Playoff contention then sign with Cleveland.

Z rejected an extension the Cavs offered around mid-season worth 10 mil per year... So he won't settle for 5-6 mil. This year he was paid around 14 million.
