a couple of nice wins there....good to see Bryce Drew contributing

although the Darko trade is pretty unrealistic in terms of real life

fair in terms of Live though

Stro played well in that first game, but as for the 2nd one, he didn't do too well. I think he should be your no.1 option big man because he can dominate with his high jumping ability if you set him up lower in the post. He doesn't have the strength to just overpowerp layers though.

yes, Bryce is a good backup... might steal away JR Bremer's backup PG privileges, we'll see...
although the Darko trade is pretty unrealistic in terms of real life
Larry Brown wanted him out bad and immediately, so the Pistons offloaded his bloated rookie contract for pittance... just like the Jazz offloade Arroyo IRL...

He's better at C than Murphy, so he'll probably be my starting C from now on... I'll use Kaman when facing up heavier opposition Centers...

FEBRUARY RECAP:
All in all, it was a very good month for the Golden State Warriors, going 8-3 in February and solidifying their case for Pacific Division Champions and a top 3 seed in the Western Conference. Led by the exciting and young trio of Davis, Richardson and Murphy, the Warriors continued to take the league by storm and astound all pundits and critics alike.

There were few news around the NBA in February, as this was probably one of the quieter , if not the quieter, trade deadline of all time.

In the early MVP race, Shaq and LeBron James look like favorites, after steadily leading their teams towards high playoff seeds in the East, along with fascinating New Jersey duo, Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson. Baron Davis of the Warriors is also considered, putting up great numbers and having completely turned the franchise’s fates around ever since his acquisition…

THE GAME: MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES vs. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

The first game of the month of March saw the warriors visiting Tennessee to face the always dangerous and deepest team in the league, the Memphis Grizzlies… Pau Gasol had posed way too many problems for Golden State the last time the two teams met, and this occasion was not any different. The 7 footer Spaniard took control of the paint from the beginning and had Troy Murphy on his heels throughout the entire first quarter… Chris Kaman tried to counter him on offense with 6 points, but was still unable to contain him on defense… Shane Battier and Vlade Divac picked up the scoring mantle in the second quarter, and it was only due to a late GS rally led by Baron Davis and Jason Kapono that the score line was 55-53 at the half. In the second half, Jason Williams remembered his Sacramento days and proceeded to put up a wild-passing display that had the home crowd on their feet on numerous occasions. Gasol was scoring from 15 feet on a regular basis, while Troy Murphy tried to keep up for the Warriors. In the 4th and final quarter, the frontline duo of Gasol and Divac was too much for Golden State, as they dominated the boards and inside scoring,
leading the Griz to a 106 – 97 victory.

POG: PAU GASOL 20pts – 9rebs – 4blks
GAME OF THE DAY:
MILWAUKEE 105 – PHILADELPHIA 108 (Chris Webber 31pts – 8rebs – 5ast)

Eww, I was shocked to see Divac in that Grizzlies uniform and Nowitzki
Divac, Nowitzki and Gasol hmmm. Anyway, all I can say is that I'm not too bummed about you losing this one and you should know why

THE GAME: MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES vs. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

After a loss at Memphis, the Warriors visit Minneapolis for their 2nd game in a 8-game long road trip, that could very well define the franchise’s playoff hopes. Initially, they seem to have a good chance winning this one, with Minnesota’s backcourt duo of Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell both being out because of injuries. It starte doff as expecting, with Golden State completely dominating the first quarter, led by the usual suspects: Jason Richardson was scoring from all over, and Baron Davis was feeding people the ball for some easy buckets. The second quarter was no different, with the Warriors crashing the boards, slowing down the tempo and playing excellent cover defense on Kevin Garnett, who was too alone to make an impact. With Troy Murphy exploding for 17 points in the half, the visitors found themselves up 36 – 52 at the half. The second half saw the Wolves slowly starting to pick up the pace and giving the visitors the runaround. KG and Troy Hudson started scoring non-stop, while good defense contained J-Rich’s outbursts and BD’s fast-break game. In the 4th, it was all too close, with Minnesota even mamaging to tie the game up at a point , 91-91. But then, the Warriors’ leader since January, Baron Davis, proceeded to lead his team to glory, with some excellent plays on both ends of the floor, helping Golden State win the game 97 – 101.

THE GAME: WASHINGTON WIZARDS vs. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

The Wizards are looking good this year to make the ever-eluding playoffs and were hopeful of a win against their Western Conference counterparts this evening. The game started off rather slowly, with many poor passing and shooting decisions from both sides during the first quarter of play. Richardson and Murphy helped Golden State to a 12-18 lead after 12 minutes, and went on to do the same thing in the second quarter. Richardson finished the half with 10 points, all the while Murphy had a great all around performance. Defense was the key for the Warriors, though, limiting their opposition to only 28 first half points and leading 28-38 midway through the contest. The second half saw the game speed up a bit, with both teams seemingly find their way to the basket a little bit easier. Baron Davis’ assists where like daggers in the heart of Washington’s defense, while Gilbert Arenas’ leadership on offense kept the home team relatively close. It got even closer in the 4th quarter, with Larry Hughes and Kwame Brown leading a charge that cut the deficit to 6, but from that point on, Baron Davis’ leadership and astute passing skills helped the Warriors assume command once more and win this game 75-83.

POG: BARON DAVIS 18pts – 14ast – 4stl – 3reb – 7Tos

SEATTLE 108 – DETROIT 105 (Rashard Lewis 46pts – 6rebs – 3ast – 18/32 FGs)

Very nice wins, it looks like B-Diddy is dishing out those dimes better than any other PG in the league. If he can keep this up, he can possibly win MVP hopefully.

He's on top of the league for APG right now, and he'll probably be right there after the full 82 games as well.
But whatever... LET BIEDRINS PLAY MORE
He's still 18, and I have 4 guys in front of him. His time will come, be sure of it.
Great updates man.
Thanks.
