Depending on the angle, I think he jumped awkwardly and didn't get good extension for the ball.

the best Horry moment was when he was in Houston, years ago, he missed a dunk with 2 hands, hung onto the rim, grabbed the ball again with one hand aand redunked it, anyone remember that one?

That sounds very familiar  Did the refs waive the dunk off?

Anybody have a better angle of that?

Yea, the dunk was waived off, was like one of the plays of the week, commentators were like "OHHHH he dunked it in with the other hand but it wont count, it wont count.... but boy i want to see that again!"

It's Ron Harper.

I remember that one too, it shows up on a couple of highlight tapes from the 90s. The other memorable Horry highlight from the 90s (that's included on most of the same tapes) is the alley-oop he threw down that got flicked back out by the net. The ball made no contact with Horry or another player as it went through, it simply went in at the right angle with the right force for the net to flick it back and out.

so it was not counted? i heard the rules is that the ball must pass thru the net....not flip thru the net.....it happens once in our local league the PBA..a guy hit a 3 pointer swish but the ball bounce out, then a miss :!: :!: :!: :!: i was pretty much pissed that day

I would also like to see the video of the two hand dunk because I've never seen neither of them.

It didn't count. I don't think there's a video anywhere online, but I know the following tapes have at least one of the two Horry dunks from the 90s:

NBA Courtside Comedy (1997)
NBA Superslams 2 (1995)
NBA Rewind: Funniest & Finest Plays (1994)

LOL on closer inspection I think Horry kicked Hamilton in the balls (and look at the expression on Hamiltons face if you can see it).

Sat Jun 25, 2005 1:56 am

horry is sick i think he wouldnt dunk just foer the 3 pts

Sat Jun 25, 2005 2:46 am

You get three points for dunking?

Only if you get fouled in the process... unless you can jump from outside the 3pt line...

no guys he threw 3 pointer 1-2 minutes ago and he relaxed and he cheered himself'i can do that,i can do that!'and he did it.I think he cant do this in his best career days.He only cheered himself.
