again same superstar freestyle thing but just in case someone wants to read it. They emphasize on risk/reward system on the new superstar feature.

Thanks for the link (once again) (y) I posted it on the main-page...

I'm really starting to like the idea of the Freestyle Superstars. :) Can't wait to try it out for myself.

Risk/reward system huh? So if you dunk too much and hang on the rim and put your crotch in their face you get T'd up maybe? That would be a nice touch.

But still... I'm only seeing 2 types of superstars, only Power and Playmaker, how about the slashers such as Kobe, Dwade, Lebron or T-Mac etc? And what about the shooters, Ray Allen, Peja, Redd etc?

And what about Iverson? He is neither a Playmaker nor a Power player, how is he gonna be realistic?

I was wondering what if you control a power player and he is standing in the free throw line and you execute a super freestyle dunk. Will he jump from the free throw line and dunk or just shoot a jump shot?
NBA Live 2003 is the best game ever made.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering... And it must be really hard to Direct Freestyle Pass to a guy.. How many buttons is that!! The reward thing sounds nice..like you dunk too much then you can upgrade into a Power Star....

When I read risk/reward system, I interpret it as the game rewarding intelligent and varied use of the moves available by allowing you to succeed; in contrast, overuse of the same move will eventually fail because the AI wises up to it. The risk of course would be the possibility the move could lead to a foul or turnover. It could be some kind other kind of reward system, but that's what I first thought when I read it.

Although we were told that there will be a total of 6 categories (on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball), we

Don't worry beco'z there will be 6 categories and only 2 yet has been disclosed and i guess the other 4 will be the Stoppers, Shooters, Slashers and Big Blockers.

Iverson is a play maker. He is a shoot first playmaker.

I would agree with you on all of those except for the blockers. Personally I believe they will have the Power Players, The Playmakers, The Slashers, The Shooters, The Stoppers, and The Stealers.

I just don't think they'll have 2 different types of blockers for a superstar
