Other being John Stockton
There's been more than two. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson are two more, Bill Russell is another.
There could have been a better "storybook" finish, but as it stands Reggie left the game in a pretty good way, 27 points on 11/16 shooting, 4/8 from downtown. It's obvious that he can still play the game at a high level and he didn't go quietly into the night. A rival of the Bulls he may have been, but I've got a 90s sensibility so it's sad to see him go.

Nobody here is claiming he was the greatest of all time, so just stfu and let people celebrate his career rather than act like a dick.

That being said, IndyPacers getting all suicidal over Reggie is a bit um... *insert sensitive, yet negative word here*

I am devastated to lose my idol. I know people on this board can't really understand that, but Its the way it is.

To say he is "probably a hall of famer" is an insult to Reggie. He is by far a first ballot hall of famer.
He isn't a one of a kind?
Look at the list of all time leading scorers, the people ahead of him are dominant players in many different areas of the game. Reggie is the only guy ever, who is a pure shooter that scores 25,279 points. That will never happen again. Yes, Richard Hamilton is a similar player, but Rip has a more all around game. That is incredible that no team was ever able to figure out how to shut down Reggie Miller when his game is basically 1 dimensional. That will never happen again, I can't say that enough.
