Huge game from Yao, 33 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Dallas got a little more help from the bench though, while Houston's only contributed 6 points and had nearly as many fouls as they did assists and rebounds combined. Mutombo had a four trillion performance; four minutes and nothing else in the boxscores. Norris was almost the same, save for a single field goal attempt in 6 minutes.

The Mavs advance to the second round!
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the victory margin broke the record of 39 for a Game 7 set when St. Louis lost 85-46 to Philadelphia in the final game of the 1948 league semifinals....The 1969 Lakers and '94 Rockets were the other teams to win a seven-game series after losing the first two at home

That game was a big achievement for Dallas, but would it be enough to match against the "rising" Suns? I'm already happy knowing that they have advanced to the 2nd round. If they beat the Suns, even just once in this series, I'd be happier.

Thinking ahead, the Mavs' firepower wouldn't be enough for the Spurs.
