As I said elsewhere, I would have dealt with this all sooner, but I've started a new job on top of the timezone differences, so this is the first chance I've had to log in to the NLSC today.
This thread will not be deleted, but it will be locked. That way, you can see my post.
Threads calling out other forum members are totally out of line. There is no excuse for starting a flame war, especially in this fashion. Everyone. please let this be the last time it happens. I don't work every day of the week, so I'm not always going to be out of the office so to speak, so if I have the opportunity to be more vigilant I will not hesitate. I apologise for letting this flame escalate but as I've already explained, this is the first opportunity I've had to take care of NLSC matters.
Rest assured, as soon as this is posted and the thread locked, I'll be taking further action.
Just another note though - even though this thread was uncalled for, I think it should be mentioned that it's not right to insult a person because of their age either. Calling someone a kid and dismissing them due to their age is not right either. The flame war was perpetuated when it could have easily been dismissed.
I've said my piece. This thread will now be locked, and I'll decide just who warrants deletion and whether I should consider any second chances with stern warnings. A general warning though - please, everyone try to avoid a repeat of this. It's an internet message board, so I know there will be flames and whatnot in the future. But let's try to avoid them anyway - it just might prevent a few from flaring up.
