NBA.com presents regular season in review

Postby Andrew on Thu Apr 28, 2005 1:28 pm

Year in Review: 2004/2005

As we discovered when we were talking about our favourite stories from this season in an earlier thread, so much happens in an NBA season with each portion of the season headlined by a different story. The review highlights that fact, and it only briefly touches on some of the more memorable moments. And we're far from done with the playoffs, too.

Needless to say, the Bulls rise to the fourth seed remains my favourite story this season.

As a Laker fan I'd rather not read anything about the past season unless it involved Shaq getting injured.

my two favorites:
1.Tmac's 13 points in 35 seconds..[burned the spurs with that one]
2.D'antoni and the rise of the suns.... :P

as much as i hated the lakers....i remained no comment for them and their organization

this season was indeed crazy.. one thing i'll definitely remember is how many people hit the 50 point mark ( most notably the first timers ) --

dirk, jermaine o'neal, lebron, amare, damon stoudamire (wtf) .. and then there's allen iverson pouring it 48, 54, 52 (correct me if i'm wrong) and 60.

honourable mentions:

- dwyane wade, manu ginobili, darius miles,( ), kobe and tmac for busting out 47-48 pt games.

- donyell marshalls 12 3pters in a game, seriously didn't see kobe's record being tied or broken anytime soon

- t-mac's 13-35.. WOW

- grant hill's comeback.. simply amazing

- christmas day - kobe vs. shaq

- the bulls making it to the playoffs with an actual decent record

not so honourable mentions:

- the palace incident, nuff said
- damon stoudamire hoisting up 21 threes
- minnesota missing the playoffs
- utah having a losing record

Hahahahahah, stupid LeBron, score 56, will you? Try winning the game next time.

Wow, I'm surprised the league's official site touched on the brawl.

I have to agree with King Homer, the Bulls were definitely the best story of the season. I'll also have to include Donyell tying the record for three pointers made because I need to have one homer pick.

you make it sound like scoring 56 points and winning a game is as simple as microwaving your leftovers. get your head out of your ass, jackass.

Would you care to explain that remark? I'm a little taken aback as to why you're coming at me with such venom. :?
