read this about 2 days ago. graphics suck though. also got a couple of videos as well. the story thing sounds interesting. they really did cutscenes and voiceovers. seems to be looking for a different audience instead of going head on with EA

thats a misconception we sports games liking, weird games liking and some other games liking PC GAMERS should change.

Another reason would also be because this was made by Sony and of course they make PS2's so they'd probably make games exclusively for it so people would by more ps2's

if only the graphics were as good as the story mode. that has to be the best story mode in a sports game ive ever seen. the shooting styles look good as well, but the graphics just aren't that good. i might still get the game though.

the detail on the faces are quite good though. at least for that fictional player. everything else sucks. as i've said before, psp graphics are better. i think they're still improving on it though coz from the videos i got they really made sure people know that it's still a work in progress

989 Sports needs to to one of the two: Die off the gaming industry or actually release a title worthy of being good. I've not liked any of the 989 games since '98 or '99. Still not impressed, but this year is a small move forward from last year.
