Just a guess

Mon Apr 18, 2005 3:41 pm

I'm not sure if I have the second round match ups correct but here is what I see.

East first round

Miami beats NJ
Detroit beats Philly
Indiana beats Boston
Washington beats Chicago

East second round

Indiana beats Detroit
Miami beats Washington

East finals

Indiana beats Miami

West first round

Phoenix beats Memphis
Denver beats San Antonio
Sacramento beats Seattle
Dallas beats Houston

West second round

Phoenix beats Dallas
Denver beats Sacramento

West Finals

Phoenix beats Denver

NBA Finals

Indiana beats Phoenix

Like I said just a guess.

uhh..yeah...indiana won't even get past detroit. without artest boston might even have a chance of beating indiana

and call me biased, but i doubt the spurs will be eliminated that easily

Mon Apr 18, 2005 4:32 pm

We'll soon see won't we?

Mon Apr 18, 2005 4:36 pm

You've got the brackets right, though I don't think there will be so many upsets out West. But as you said, we'll soon see.

They definitely won't get past Miami too..

Mon Apr 18, 2005 10:36 pm

lol i seem some biaseness in those brackets..pacers are doing well and all, but to simply walk over miami and detriot let alone the fast 'n furious suns is a little too much in my opinion

People aren't bias, we all offer our opinions based on intellectual breakdowns of certain situations. Observe, my play off picks:

EAST FIRST ROUND

Miami def. NJ
Philly def. Detroit
Boston def. Indiana
Chicago def. Washington

EAST SECOND ROUND

Philly def. Boston
Miami def. Chicago

EAST FINALS

Miami def. Philly

WEST FIRST ROUND

Phoenix def. Memphis
San Antonio def. Denver
Sacramento def. Seattle
Dallas def. Houston

WEST SECOND ROUND

Phoenix def. Dallas
San Antonio def. Sacramento

WEST FINALS

Phoenix def. San Antonio

NBA FINALS

The scheduled match-up between the Phoenix Suns and the Miami Heat is made null and void by NBA Commissioner David Stern who walks out onto centre court just moments before tip off. He informs the fans in the crowd that the league had created a new rule which restricted the amount of teams with temperature related names in the NBA Finals. Shaquille O'Neal offered him a Wookie life debt to reconsider, but it was in vain as Stern announced that in place of the Miami Heat, the Phoenix Suns would be taking on a more liquid-related team. And I herebye declare the 2005 NBA Champions the Los Angeles Lakers.

Like I said, it's just a guess.

Dallas just doesn't have D to succeed in the playoffs. I'd say conference champs is going to be San Antonio or Phoenix

I disagree, I think Dallas WILL beat pheonix. San Antonio will be tough, but i think TD isnt 100% and Dirk is playing the best of his career and the young guys are playing well, I like their chances.

Tue Apr 19, 2005 12:41 pm

Well Phoenix doesn't really play D either. so it's possible. you're right about TD not being 100% though. hopefully he's gonna be fine in the playoffs

Tue Apr 19, 2005 1:30 pm

avery johnson has been fixing that D down there in dallas, so be careful.

Tue Apr 19, 2005 1:33 pm
