like you know nothing about me and my nba preferences... I was a loyal raptor fan for years. But they got rid of all the good players, made stupid decisions, traded vince, who used to be my favourite player, dissed alston, made so many stupipd deals that I didn't want to support them anymore. Raptors have sucked for a long time, I still remember the days of 2001 when I screamed when VC missed the last shot at game seven against philly. After that the team got worse and... I'm too tired to explain more

I can't imagine people actually CHANGING teams just because they are losing, or making bad moves.

I guess it's much more normal in the US, but in here, as fans, I think we're much more loyal. 8-)

Yeah, I read there a lot and have started posting occasionally. I know at least three (3) other posters from NLSC who are also at raptorblog, other than llama (who is a vet there, but a noob here I guess, kind of a role reversal ;) ) : DipsetVC, frgrep15, and KD.

And as for Finnboy, you'd think I'd be mad at him, myself being a loyal raptors fan... however, I've talked to him, and I can vouch that he is NOT a bandwagon fan. And don't try to argue... just don't. You can't get anywhere arguing with a raptors fan... they're all obviously crazy... :twisted:

I'm still a friggin Raptor fan even though we traded our "best" player for a bag of candy and overdue milk, our GM is an idiot, our point guard wants to strangle our head coach to death, half of the players want out on our team and we always lose. Yeah, the typical season of a Raptor fan.

I still support the raptors but it's not my favourite team anymore. If I still lived there it obviously would be, but with the amount of NBA games I get here... I see no raptors games, but that's not the reason.

I started to watch NBA in 1998-1999 and my favourite teams were Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, in that order. Now it's Philadelphia, Toronto, New York. Players always mattered much to me and Vince Carter was my favourite player. But you don't see me cheering for Brick city, huh? I support who I want, but I want to say that the three teams I support have been the same for seven years now.

Lol supporting 3 teams, not short of choice or anything. I'm going to start following 3 new teams since the Lakers are rubbish. Dallas, Phoenix and San Antonio (Y)
