Moore is unlucky to get that kind of injury...4 weeks out then 13 days more..
i hope other NLSC dont get major injury just minor one...

amazing updates micchy, despite the loses of course

if you look at their height you will said its an upset but Yan have higher rating and more skill than Cava...
so until now all higher seed won each match-up (only mafia almost made an upset)
so its up to Santos and Carr to make an upset in their respective game..
i will try to to nap this skid next game

i always think the smaller but quicker has the advantage on a this tournament...

Madsnyb wrote:Fabulous dynasty, great job! Just one suggestion: You should learn to use Darko Milicic! You said that he hadn't got good enough skills, but IMO he can score in a lot of different ways...he's a good shooter for a big man, and very quick as well. Try some jump shots with him. At least I love to play with him, he's got an avg of 15 points per game in my dynasty.

thanks for your first comment..
also thanks for the advice, itry playing Darko that way (Y)

Seattle Supersonics (10-12) @ Los Angeles Lakers (12-8)

Game Preview

Lakers will once again try to snap their longest losing skid when they battle a red-hot Seattle Supersonics. Lakers were winless last week, dropping all 4 games. They have lost to Rockets, Grizzlies, Cavs and Spurs last night. Lakers lost key players during that time and the team started to struggle. Against the Spurs, Brian Grant was available but Coach Phil decided not to use him to avoid aggravating his injury. Grant will be again in uniform for this game and will be again-time. Russel Santos, on the other hand, will need 4 more days for his injury to heal.

Seattle Supersonics are playing well at the moments winning 4 of their last 5 games and currently on a 2 game winning streak. Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis both average 20 points or more for the Sonics with Lewis also putting double digit in rebounding. Early leading Rookie of the Year candidate Chris Paul also putting up great numbers for the Sonics.

Lakers will be up against an explosive tandem of Allen and Lewis and its up Bryant and Butler to stop them. Andersen is playing well in the absence of 3 injured players and will try to continue it as he goes up against Nick Collison.

Game Recap

Image
Chris Mihm played on of his best game as
a pro, finishing with 21 points, 14 rebounds,
5 assists, 7 blocks and 1 steal

Lakers once again started the game pretty well, jumping to an early lead. But Lewis single-handedly brought back the Sonics within 2 points, 15-13. But another Lakers run, led by Butler and Mihm, put them again on top, 24-15. In that stretch, Sonics missed 8 straight shots. The 1st period ended with Lakers leading 24-17. In the 2nd quarter, Lakers continue to play well. They still hold the lead but the Sonics slowly close the gap. Lewis was unstoppable in this quarter, scoring 12 of his 22 points in this 2nd period. Chris Paul added 8 points and the Lakers lead was just 2 points at halftime, 47-45.

The game was close in the 3rd period, no team led by more than 5 points. It also features several lead changes. Lakers made a late quarter run to put them ahead by 5 points but a buzzer-beater shot of Lewis, made it a 69-66 count heading to the final period. Lewis only scored 2 points in this quarter after a 22 points in the 1st half. In the final period, Bryant took over the game, scoring 8 straight points to start this quarter. After that, he tried to set-up his teammates with his drive and dish play. Alston was the beneficiary of this passes as he scored 10 points, mostly on open jumper. Lakers took an 89-77 lead and they never let the Sonics came back in the game. Lakers win this one 102-89. Bryant led his team with 24 points but it was Mihm who played very well in this game. Mihm finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 blocks and 1 steal. Rashard Lewis torched the Lakers with his 36 points but was not enough to overcome Lakers. All Lakers’ starters scored in double figures.

Los Angeles Lakers (13-8) @ Utah Jazz (7-11)

Game Preview

Lakers finally snapped their losing streak with a win against Sonics last game. Now they will try to start a new streak, this time a winning streak when they visit the Utah Jazz. Lakers got a huge game from all their starters with Mihm playing a great all-around game. In their first meeting, Bryant led the Lakers in scoring and got a big game from Lamar Odom. Coach Phil announced that Grant will play few minutes in today games while Odom and Santos will still be in injured list. This will be the 5th game Santos after he was placed in IR and will be activated next game.

Utah Jazz, on the other hand, are on a 6 game losing skid. They lost 9 of their last 10 games and they are the 5th worst team in NBA today. All 4 Jazz starters average more than 14 points but not more than 16 points. They need someone to step up and be the no.1 scoring option of the team, either Kirilenko or Boozer need to do that.

In their first meeting, we said Lakers need to watch the Jazz frontcourt, but they only combined 18 points. In this game, they will try to make up for that poor showing but Mihm, Andersen and Grant will try to stop them.

Game Recap

Image
Kobe Bryant usual number; 26 points,
5 rebounds and 3 assists for a win against
struggling Jazz

Lakers jumped to a 10-4 lead early in the game. But Jazz came back behind their backcourt duo. Giricek and Arroyo combined for 13 points to take the lead midway in the quarter. Lakers played catch up and never let the Jazz pull away. At the end of the period, Jazz only lead by 1 point, 22-21. Bryant and Mihm scored 9 and 8 points respectively. Jazz shots 52.6% in this quarter. In the next period, Jazz extended their lead to 6 points, 34-28 with 5:08 left in the 1st half. But a big 14-5 run by Lakers, led by Mihm and Milicic, put the Lakers on top by 42-39 at the end of the 1st half. Klitsie came off the bench and scored 8 points in this quarter.

In the 3rd period, it was Lakers turn to shot well from the field. Their hot shooting resulting to an 11 point lead at 55-44. But again, Jazz slowly crawled but and Lakers saw their double digit lead was down to only 4 points. Kirilenko and Arroyo led that came back. After the 3rd period, Lakers lead by 6 points, 71-65 behind Bryant 10 3rd quarter points. The Jazz continue to trail in the 4th quarter but never let the Lakers took a big lead. The game was relatively close and with last 1:15 left, Lakers led by 4 points, 91-87. A 3-point shot by Kirilenko put the Jazz within 1 point with 52 seconds left. In the next possession, Andersen made a dunk to make it 93-90. Jazz again scored a basket and fouled Butler. Butler calmly made the 2 free-throws, Lakers up 95-92 with 20.3 seconds left. Lakers then decided to make it a battle of free-throws. They intentionally foul Giricek and he made both free-throws. Then Jazz fouled Bryant, he also made his 2 free-throws. Again Lakers fouled and put Kirilenko on the line. After making both free-throws, they still trail, 97-96, with 6.2 seconds left. Once again, Butler was fouled and made the 2 free-throws. Without timeout, Jazz were forced to take a desperation 3-point shots that never even hit the rim. Lakers won for 99-96. Lakers now won 2 straight game and looking good as both Grant and Santos will be 100% in their next game. Bryant led Lakers with his 26 points and Mihm had another solid game, finishing with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Kirilenko, Giricek and Arroyo all scored 20 points or more but got only 9 points from their starting frontline.

yeah, i konw there's a lot of great kobe patch there but i'm satisfied with EA kobe esp. in game pics.

Some face patch looks exactly like him but when your playing with him, they look very different.

i'm strugling lately maybe due to injuries....in that 4 game skid, 1or 2 games i think i can win it but unable to make baskets when it counts. like in rockets game im up by double digit but lost in the 4th quarter. also with griz, i'm catching then odm got injured which kill my momentum...

its been a while since i updated this dynasty...
got busy with my new CF and a new dynasty

Sacramento Kings (16-7) @ Los Angeles Lakers (14-8)

Game Preview

Lakers will try to extend their wining streak when they host the Sacramento Kings. After losing 4 straight games, Lakers bounced back and win their last games and Supersonics and Jazz. In both games, Mihm was the big reason they win. He played great all-around game. Russel Santos was activated from the injured list and will play.

Sacramento Kings are on a roll, winning 6 of their last games. Peja Stojakovic is now the no.1 scoring option for the Kings. Cuttino Mobley, on his 2nd season with Kings, looked comfortable with the team’s offense and 2nd in team scoring. All Kings’ starters average 14 or more points.

Caron Butler will have his hand full in guarding sharpshooter Stojakovic. He will need helped from his teammates. Lakers will need to play great team defense as King’s as one of the potent scoring team in NBA today.

Game Recap

Image
Peja Stojakovic shoots the light out,
scoring anywhere and anytime from the
court to finished with 33 points.

The game started pretty well with both teams trading baskets. The score was 15-14 with Kings on top, 4:40 left in the 1st period. But a 10-3 run by the Kings open the game wide and took an 8 point lead, thanks to Webber offensive rebounding and putbacks. They extended it to 31-19 but a 3 point shot at the buzzer by Alston made it 31-22 at the end of the quarter. In the 2nd quarter, Kings continue to lead the game and even extended the lead to 13 points. Stojakovic and Miller both scored 6 points in this quarter while Watson came off the bench to score 5 points. Lakers made a comeback behind Santos, who scored 2 straight 3 points to cut the lead to only 7 points. Mihm and Butler joined the prey and put the Lakers with 4 points. Kings recovers just in time and put their lead back to 5 points, 50-45 going to the dugout. Bryant played limited minutes due to foul trouble and scored just 5 points in the 1st half.

In the 3rd period, the Kings once again extended their lead to double digits. A lay-up by Miller made it a 57-47 count. Bryant still struggles and sits most of the 3rd period with 4 personal fouls. Without Bryant, Alston and Andersen teamed up to scored 7 and 8 points to put the Lakers within 6 points. After Stojakovic lead the scoring for the Kings, Mobley made 12 points in this quarter. The score was 72-66 after 3 quarters. Lakers were still trailing the Kings by 10 points when Bryant was called for his 5th personal foul. Again Coach Phil took him out but after just few seconds, Bryant asked his coach to put him back to the game. At 4:09 mark, Kings still hold a 92-82 lead. Then Lakers made that big run to cut it to just a single point, 96-95 with 1:37 left in the game. Bryant and Milicic led that late 4th quarter run. Both teams traded baskets after that to make it 98-97. Then Bryant was called for his 6th foul and Lakers will play the last 56.7 without their franchise player. But Lakers looked lost in that final minutes and a 7 unanswered points for the Kings made it a 104-97. The game ended with kings winning in Staples Center, 106-100. Stojakovic finished with 33 points and Mobley added 23 for the Kings. While Miller and Webber grabbed 16 and 15 rebounds respectively. Despite struggling, Bryant finished with 16 points and led 4 other Lakers players with 12 points and more in this game.
