yeah of course, but its a cool idea.

one day the cover of the chicago tribune was a picture of a jordan knicks jersey because there was a rumor he was going to leave for NY and it was pretty cool too.

Wed Mar 30, 2005 9:20 am

imagine , jordan a knick

i wish :( :( :(

Wed Mar 30, 2005 9:23 am

i could actually imagine jordan in these uniforms:

bulls (obviously)
celtics
knicks
lakers (kind of)
wizards (obviously)

but i couldnt imagine him in any of the more new looking unis like atlanta, utah, new orleans, memphis, seattle, phoenix, golden state.

I'm hoping you guys realize that all you have to do is go to NBAStore.com or the actual Store in New York and buy a personalized jersey -- having "Jordan" as the name and the number twenty-three.

Not really difficult.

Wed Mar 30, 2005 9:57 am

were talking about him actually play for the team tho...

Wed Mar 30, 2005 10:55 am

I'm trying to think, and I really can't see his name on another jersey, it just doesn't fit... it looks wrong.

Wed Mar 30, 2005 11:10 am

You can make one of those on NBA.com. We can make any name any team anything.

yeah... gloveguy already said that

Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:11 pm

That's a good way to make a profit.

Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:18 pm

With enough stupid people buying it, yes it is. :|

Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:21 pm

why not just spend the money customizing one on nba.com? this is so stupid.

Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:26 pm

how is it stupid? its free!

not to buy one of course, but you can see what it looks like.

Thats a good idea, the customizing part. I remember in the Toronto and Ottawa (NHL Playoffs) some guy had an Ottawa jersey but it sayed "Go Leafs Go" (Toronto Mapleleafs) . Good way of dissing the other team, Toronto and Ottawa hate each other so....

i dont understand why people are having such trouble following this conversation...

oh well.

Thu Mar 31, 2005 12:50 am

That's just weak. I can personalize every team's jersey with "23" and "Jordan". Just go to NBA Store, guys. And Jordan's last game was @ Philly on April 16th, 2003. What a n00b...

Thu Mar 31, 2005 12:57 am

A record crowd of 20,152 attended the HEAT's home game against the Washington Wizards in the American Airlines Arena. The 20,152 in attendance are the most ever at a HEAT home game and set a record for a professional basketball game in the state of Florida. The game marked Michael Jordan's final game in Miami.

The seller actually has all the details right, though the retired jersey was actually half-Bulls, half-Wizards.

The only real advantage is the cost...or was, before the bidding rose up to $48. It would have been a little cheaper than ordering the same jersey in the form of a customised one from nba.com.

Thu Mar 31, 2005 2:42 am

has anyone noticed that the numbers on the fake MJ jersey r not even Miami's numbers? the Heat #'s arent round like that

Thu Mar 31, 2005 5:18 am

Yeah I've noticed that. It looks odd. It could be a tad bit thin too.
