Well well, at the beginning of the year, everyone handed Kobe the Scoring Title pretty much, and he held it for a good portion of the season.
But was that answer the real answer? Well, "The Answer" right now is leading the league in scoring and is moving away from Kobe.

anyway, question is who will finish the league in scoring this season? Looks like Iverson right now, but he just received help in Webber and the Lakers are about to go in "give it to Kobe" mode to secure a playoff spot in the west which makes things interesting.


right now i think Iverson will have it at the end of the year. Right now even with Chris Webber, his scoring isn't slowing down, it's actually picking up :shock:

My bet is on Iverson. He's bound to put in a couple more big games that'll keep his point total up, even with the addition of Chris Webber.

am i the only one who is happy with how team scoring is going up and the league leaders are down a bit? personally i think thats the way it should be

I agree with you. Makes the game much more exciting to watch, and I'm glad the team scoring is getting higher again.

Definitely Iverson, he just scores points at will and as he has shown if the Sixers need him to drop 50+, he can do it.

beginning of the season i had kobe down as the leagues leading scorer but after iverson erupted with those 50 point performances and that 60 point barrage he definitely has my vote

Looking at the numbers, I'm inclined to pick AI. AI has to slow down for Kobe to catch him, and I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm a Lakers-kObe fan but i think AI will get the scoring title....
kobe got lot of help from teammates compared to AI with only few offensive teammate plus if you just read Webber just waiting this season to end so i think he got no motivaton to help the sixers

Kobe wants to get it, and that's why he'll put up some effort now. He'll win the scoring title! I personally don't like A.I.!

If Kobe has changed, playoffs comes in front of scoring title... but for the sake of being his fan... i'm going with him... lol

Kobe scored in his last four games 36+ points, and is averaging 38.5 points! Kobe has eight 40+ games, A.I. just seven. Kobe is going to get the scoring title! A.I. is leading by just 1.8 PPG...

Yeah, I noticed Kobe is putting up big points lately, and at that pace, assuming AI doesn't step up, Kobe might win it all of a sudden. I guess his critics are fueling his competitive fire.

Kobe Bryant at a recent press thing said he wants to get the Lakers into the playoffs.. he said something like theres no excuse why they wont make it... the guy seems motivated
