That's true, and while that's probably how it should be, it's a shame that other athletes don't get similar treatment. But Magic is a very likeable person from all accounts, so it's not surprising.

ehhhh it's not that surprising. If i remember correctly, Magic has HIV..not AIDS (yet).
HIV is just a virus that remains dormant in cells until those cells are activated by other colds and stuff.
When that happens then HIV starts all it's shit and you get full blown AIDS. That's why it's so important for HIV patients to not catch common colds and stuff.
Magic is just lucky that hasn't caught anything these past 13 years that have activated the infected cells. (damn too much microbiology for me). Plus he's probably on a few dozen expensive medications that no normal person can hope to afford.

From what i read before, Magic had women waiting for him at half time in the backrooms of home games at the Forum.

sorry missed your post and besides it was inaccurate. You die from opportunistic infections..not AIDS. AIDS is just by definition having <20% antibody count.

And yes Magic was pimp...but it's just sad watching him in those embarassing All Star Saturday events now. :oops:

If person A (with HIV/AIDS) spilled his blood and some of that blood landed on Magic's wound, then that wound is infected with the virus. Simple as that.
