Who Will WIn NBA Finals?

Postby chicubs9132002 on Mon Feb 28, 2005 3:54 am

Who do you guys take to win the nba finals

i take the miami heat

if they make shaq wait a required time for his injury to heal they need to let him heal up and rest so he can be 100% he does not need to go back too early theve won like what 40 games already there in the playoffs so i take the heat

at the begginning of the season i was thinking timberwovles but now they might NOT even be in playoffs...

take your pick

i still pick spurs. especially now a true centre in nazr mohammed in the lineup. it'll be a tough series if the spurs meet the heat. ginobili vs. wade should be a good matchup.

I picked the Pistons because i honestly think that they can win. This team is better than last years squad and is slowly hitting it's stride. The biggest obstacles will probably be Miami & SAS but i think both can and eventually will be beaten.

I agree, Pacers should've been on the poll, not the Celtics.

I picked the experienced and best-record in the league team to win it all: Spurs.

Sorry, but not with Spree and Sam still being the tumor of KG's team. At least you've proved that you're a dedicated fan (Y)

Detroit Pistons

If Ron Artest returns, I might change my prediction.

i voted for the spurs simply cause i think thier brand of ball is best suited for the playoffs. i dont think the suns run n gun game is gonna do good past round 1 so i cant vote for them. the other team i considered is the pistons to repeat but i feel they will lose in the finals. the heat are looking pretty good but i dont think they will pass the pistons. celtics dont belong on this list if you ask me, infact i would not put the cavs or rockets on it either but i guess any team that makes the playoffs should be listed so whatever. i think the spurs actually made themselves better at the deadline and if they keep playing thier game in the playoffs i fully expect them to take it home this year.

Hey, as bad as it sounds I think this team can still win it. They put this team together to make a run and I god damn believe it can still happen. Call me stupid but if this team can make the playoffs and get the 8th seed, I think they can make some noise.

Or maybe it's just wishful thinking. I don't know. But Minnesota all the way.

Even though I don't like the Spurs I have somewhat of a belief that they will take the trophy home this year just because of how strong they are.

History teaches us not to pencil anyone in for a championship parade before the NBA Finals is over, but I think it's a three team race between San Antonio, Miami and Detroit. You could probably make a case for Phoenix and Seattle, but I believe the overall lack of playoff experience on their rosters will hurt them against an opponent such as the Spurs.

I also agree with Sauru - the Suns' style of play isn't really suited for the playoff environment. In contrast, the Spurs have proven they can play well in both uptempo games and slower, grind it out basketball.

Why didn't you include the Lakers? I personally think Boston will get it because of 'Toine, Truth and Tricky. Go, Celtics!

If not my Celtics, then the Suns will get it.
