accully now it kinda is good but now ill have to keep up to both teams but kings are still number 1 and sixers number 2 :!: :!: :!:

Fri Feb 25, 2005 12:54 pm

funny how this happened after I said kings fans are the most annoying..now 76er fans might be the most annoying.

Fri Feb 25, 2005 2:55 pm

I saw this on ESPN last night
I didnt know how to react, my jaw just dropped
I still keep with me saying that Webber should be traded but not like this
Bibby is still my favorite player but I believe its time to find a new team now :(
Im speechless :o

Fri Feb 25, 2005 3:01 pm

I think it was a bad move for the Kings, they were better off trading Peja for Odom, but it looks like they can still play pretty good

Fri Feb 25, 2005 5:02 pm

OSF you pull a classic one.its just a matter of time somebody from the WEBBER/KINGS camp will pull a stunt like that (N)

Definately a good trade Philly and like many others stated, Sac-Town could've gotten a bit more for Webber. It'll be interesting to see how AI and Webber get along!

Btw, nice pic Jowe, LOL

Sat Feb 26, 2005 8:05 am

First of all, I'm shocked... This is crazy, I still can't beleive this happened!
All those years in Sacramento... But I'm not mad, he had to leave Sacramento. And this is pretty good. Like Shaq he's gonna be beatin up on the East! And him and Iverson...is gonna be pure domination.

well wormy I hope u're happy

Yeah, but Shaq will beat on him!!

Sat Feb 26, 2005 8:13 am

ya...good one! (Y) .....

Sat Feb 26, 2005 9:58 am

Webber/Iverson... sounds great! Let's see if theyre better than Yao/T-mac! And Shaq/Wade

Sat Feb 26, 2005 1:46 pm

I'll tell u one thing though, for all Kings fans. King Webber will be missed...

Kings defenitly got screwed and this is a disaster and they are in big trouble and fans aren't happy...I still like the Kings but I'm also now a huge Sixers fan!

Sat Feb 26, 2005 1:58 pm

And some other things: Iverson said he's very excited about C-Webb and he said this is the best teammate he's ever had by far. And u can check out that interview on ESPN Motion on espn.com. And one last thing, Webber will debut as a Sixer Saturday night in Philly against...the Sacramento Kings.

Sat Feb 26, 2005 2:04 pm

Nice... Webber took the Kings from nowhere to Conference Finals.. maybe him and AI will take Philly from playoffs to Ring... I'm not sure though.

They have a great team! didnt lose any of the young guys and got webber for nearly nothing!

Sat Feb 26, 2005 2:07 pm

I agree completely! (Y)

Sat Feb 26, 2005 2:17 pm

so c-webbsixers... u supporting the sixers now?

Sat Feb 26, 2005 3:00 pm

i hate webber fans so much. god.

why would you change your team just because one player got traded? thats absoloutly ridiclous. its something an 8 or 9 year old would do. god that annoys me so much.

oh and one little observation i had, both of the kings/sixers fans are both from canada

Sat Feb 26, 2005 3:24 pm

When my best player got traded i was also gonna change my name, to:
Vincedom_kid. Vince Carter...u knw.... :|

i dont understand how its stupid. if your loyal to a team your loyal to a team. period.

of course i would never support a trade like this, but i would still go to pacers games and be a die hard pacer fan.

I think he's just exaggerating to make his point that he's a die-hard Pacer fan. Of course, this trade is impossible, anyway.

Sun Feb 27, 2005 3:55 am

I didn't change my team. I changed my name to c-webbsixers cause he plays for the Sixers now it would be awkward to be c-webbkings cause he doesn't play for them anymore. I like the Kings AND the Sixers.

Wow...Martin to the Nuggets...I'm no Nuggets fan...
Kittles to the Clippers...I'm no Clippers fan...
Rogers to the Hornets...I'm no Hornets fan...(Now with the Sixers)
Harris to the Cavs...I'm no Cavs fan...
And most important...Mutumbo to the Rockets...I'm no Rockets fan :)

Anyways, IndyPacers67 is right, I didn't stop supporting the Nets when I heard Martin, Kittles, Harris, Rogers etc. got traded. You just have to live through it because you never know when something good may happen.

And as much as I'm still dissapointed with the team breaking up, the Nets now have arguably the best backcourt in the league with Kidd and Carter, and when Jefferson comes back it won't make it any worse.

They now have a developing Nenad Krstic who has impressed me so far, and we will get our share of picks.

So if Thorn make the right moves this offseason, this team could be right back to contending in the East.

As for the Webber trade, I think Songaila has played here long enough to know the system, he's a good passer and can hit the mid range jumper, and that's what Sacramento big men are supossed to do.

They now have a lot of depth at the PF/C position if they end up keeping all those players, so I can't say if it will or will not work out, but I'm not all that dissapointed.

Before the Big Guy, and certainly before the Odom trade or even thinking about Dwayne, we had a REAL shitty team.

After the 00-01 Heat broke up, (man, that was beautiful, although we didn't go anywhere...) we had to wait a while for success.

Now we are contenders! Look at that!

I don't think it's stupid to support a franchise, cause it represents YOUR city. Or you just LIKE IT!! I think it's the right thing to do. :)
