Lol, you being a J-Rich fan, I'd expect that kind of comment after so much praise about Josh Smith (and a little bit of J-Rich bashing on the side).

LOL...i liked most of Josh Smiths dunks. Didnt think the josh smith windmill deserved a 50 just cuz he put on nique's jersey just like I dont think amare should have got a 50 just cuz nash can bounce a ball off his head. Has nothing to do with J-Rich.

The desmond dunk was very nice like I said, I think it was a better windmill than Josh Smiths.

that was a nasty dunk. not sure if that was better then smith's windmill... smith's homage to wilkins looked more like jordaon's kiss the rim dunk

Yea I know, it was a nice dunk, but if JR Smith going behind his back is only a 45 then a windmill has to be about a 40.

But the judges' excuses were probably because it took JR three tries  Those judges were terrible. It was all 45's and 50's I swear. I'd be happy if they gave a 47, or a 48, or even a 49, to mix it up, but noOOoo.

Yea, but Amare took 2 tries to get the ball off nash's head right. Oh well...

Because remember that Amares dunk was a three-way dunk. First the pass from Amare against the backboard to Nash, then HEAD pass back to Amare into PERFECT position, and then the dunk itself.

JR Smiths second attempt was even better than the first imho. He killed the surprise moment with his first two tries and the third was like "that dunk just that in this time". If he had scored it on the first try, it would have been fifty even in the finals.

I wish JR would have pulled that behind-the-back off on at least the second try, because I think he could have got a 50 for it. Besides the fact that that dunk was obviously pretty difficult, it was a first in the dunk contest. Also the Amare to Nash dunk was sick simply because of the perfect pass amare had to make. Even though the dunk was less than mind blowing, the pass made up for it. Also I would have given Josh Smith's windmill like a 48, but since all the judges basically try to give the same score, then a 50 is more suiting. It was a great windmill, but I think it was just a point or two short of a perfect score because of it's simplicity.

wow that's exactly what i've been telling my friends all along. i think JR smith's behind the back dunk was the most difficult one to pull off.. given his height too, etc.
