Just so you know what's going on, I've merged a few topics into this one.

I'm waiting for the highlights to go up on ESPN Motion, otherwise I'll have to wait for SportsCenter tonight. Damn ESPN Pacific Rim. :(

so far, how would you rate the dunk contest (compared to last year, and where would it be of all time contests)?

Josh Smith is going to be great, he is good at jumping off 1 leg and also both so he has advantage there

this was a good dunk contest...i think jr smith got rigged on that first dunk cuz it couldve been a 50, but it took him too long to make it go down...chris anderson was so damn funny. he got all the court time and took the commercials away

man amare is nuts...the influence video games have on these young ones these days..wonder if someone will try doing the front flips dunk haha.

i like that move by josh smith whooping out a dominique wilkens throwback and hitting a nice dunk on the first attempt..

TNT sucks, they almost completely missed 2 dunks becaus ethey cant stand keeping the camera actually ON THE PLAYER DUNKING and continually look around for either a recognizable face in the crowd or to talk to Dr. J. I don't know how Dr. J judged the last Josh Smith dunk because he was looking into a camera and doing a mini interview while the dunk happened.

if it wasnt for the Nique' jersey, i dont think that dunk would have been a 50, maybe a 47, 48

I predicted J.R. Smith for the dunk contest, and Kyle Korver for the three point shootout.

I'm so pissed at the judges, all they do is give all 9's or all 10's, wtf. Amare deserved a 50 on that between the legs reverse two hander.

i dont think that dunk would have been a 50, maybe a 47, 48

The f***ing judges don't know how to mix it up. All you get are 45's and 50's. B.S.

actually i think it would have been lower because it was the same dunk he did when he jumped over Kenyon Martin

No kidding. That interview with Dr. J, the whole dunk was completely missed. So angry :x

Anderson was a joke. I felt bad for him, anyway what happend to the atempts, everyone tried like 5 before they made thier dunk (except J.Smith)
Amare shouldnt even be in the dunk comp cause he cant dunk, but i did like the Steve Nash assists

WOW.......simply awesome contest......JR deserved a 50 on the first...that dunk was sick........but Josh Smith.......holy shit I think thats one of the array of dunks Ive seen.......the K-Mart one was amazing.....

next year they gotta bring Lebron and Vince into it.......and keep Josh and Jr.......both those kids have alotta creativity......way more than J-Rich and Fred Jones have...

n props to Birdman for stopping the commercials  .....poor guy he was trying out some neat dunks but doesnt understand he doesnt have "air" in him to do them.....

great stuff this year......although it should have been an Josh JR final.....:applaud:

What the heck are you talking about? That between the legs reverse dunk was awesome! That off the glass, off Nash's head is damn creative!
