Marbury after tonight's game. NY beat Milwaukee 108-90 and Marbury didn't play in the fourth.
"I was happy to be able to sit over there because one, we were winning, and two, to get some rest," Marbury said. "I'm going to ride with my teammates. I don't want to cause (any) controversy."

What a whiner...

Can't give you a quote, but he complained about Peja to the point he wanted to be traded, and he's definitely a in-game whiner.
No Phil, No Shaq, No Mailman, No Rudy, No Chemistry or Cohesivness....

He did not. He made some comments about certain players not stepping up in crunch time, and he said later on he wasnt reffering to peja.

As for the "in game whining", alot of players talk to refferees and dispute calls. Jordan did it, Magic did it, as did Barkley, and Karl Malone. Just look at the players today as well: Kobe, Duncan, Jermaine, Lebron... they all complain about calls...

But it was obvious he was referring to Peja (why he would even say that, being a seasoned veteran at choke artistry since from his Michigan days i don't know) and I doubt he would have started requesting a trade saying it would be better for the team if he played somewhere else over just speculation.

I can agree with there being alot of in game whiners. I guess it's the way he looks like he's about to cry when he does it. :)

I thought his comments were more directed at doug christie. Webber isnt stupid, he realises he needs Peja, and he probably realises Peja is easily rattled especially without Vlade.

A proven loser? Then so is Tmac. KG and Marbury were young and dumb back then, now you see the maturity of both players, and I'd love to see them reunited again.

i would be willing to agree that to a lesser extent tmas is a proven loser aswell, but he has not had the kind of teams marbury has had(and no i am not saying he was on teams that should have won the title). when i say proven loser i mean a player who despite his stats never makes a team better, if anything he makes them worse. if you ask me this is what marbury is all about.

Ah well anyone can have an egoboost at some point ;) LeBron doesnt, cause media does it for him.

Personally I remember Kevin Garnetts AK-47, bazooka and other military arsenal preparations for playoff seventh game :P

I want to see what source you have for these :In other words, I dont believe you.

Jamal Crawford and Nazi Mohammed arent better? Marbury didnt help make Marion Better? Injuries to his teammates have hurt his chances in the playoffs. Alot of people tend to forget that though and assume its marburys fault for everything...

Francis is a whiner though, didn't want to play in Canada, Van Gundy's system though I would whine too, and anything that has to do with Cuttino Mobley

Well it's debatable, the year when they almost beat the Pistons in the first round, he carried the Magic, and his stats were definately helping, the only year Tmac has been a loser was last season.

This season he's helping the Rockets a lot, he's the best player on the team, he's putting up the all-round numbers, his defense is back to how it was when he was playing it, and he's been clutch for the team too.

Marbury called KG a loser and during that interview on TNT last night KG said "Nobody can call me a loser to my face". I want to see Marbury call KG a loser to his face instead of the media.

C-Webb's not a whiner. In fact he doesn't whine enough. He's been getting too much crap from critics and people like what's his name? Najira...

2 things here. first i said he does not make his TEAM better, not teammates. any team he plays on basicly stays put. he needs to go out and actually lead a team and carry them in the clutch and do this deep into the playoffs before i will remove his loser label. 2nd all teams have to deal with injuries. we could sit here til the cows came home and talk about who could have or should have won a ring if they never had such and such get hurt on thier team. winners find ways to win.

Was what recent? That quote at the end wasn't from Marbury or KG, it was from a guy named Jonny Voss.
