Triple W-O-R-D!

Well isn't that funny? Look what I wrote two days ago in another thread.

2 days ago, ONYX wrote:In my opinion it's like diggity dat y'all: Josh Smith and Amare are in, if they don't find anybody else (and don't agree with LeBron James), they'll take J.R. Smith and Chris Andersen (both of the same team).

Sorry dude, I'm really not trying to flame you or anything, but:
- "diggity dat y'all"?
- you wrote 'in my opinion' but that's not an opinion
- what you were talking about 2 days ago, has been known by everyone 1 week before that

I like Josh Smiths dunks, but tomahawk dunks in a dunk contest is just boring. J.R. Smith will take it.

LBJ has been great with handling the hype since coming into the NBA. but not on this matter

i think it's pretty lame that the nba has to wait on lebron to make his decision on whether to participate or not. make up your fucking mind already. jordan never did this... he made it clear he wouldn't be in future dunk contesst so he could rest/prevent stress on his knees.

it was prety lame too when he didn't want to be in it last year because he felt he should have been in the all star game

You know what LeBron, I just don't want you in the dunk contest. Really, you're nothing special.

So what, he's made some nice dunks because of his World Class athleticism. I saw him in the McD's AA Game dunk contest and he did nothing special. He doesn't seem to have any grace in his dunks or any creativity.

Stick to the in-game dunks, LeBron. The contest is just fine without you.

LeBron sint spectacular at all... he is athletic but i dont see any creativity as gloveguy said or the freak flexibility most of the good dunkers have. did he get an invite?

Chris anderson had a couple of good dunks last time right?

I remember watching Amare in one of the contests a few years back. The Jet was saying how he couldn't do much because he's just too tall. I really doubt we'll see anything special from him.

ESPN poll from the fans:

6) Who's your pick to win the slam-dunk contest, if LeBron James doesn't compete?

42.0% Amare Stoudemire
36.0% Josh Smith
18.6% J.R. Smith
3.4% Chris Anderson

Amare to win it all? wtf

I love the guy, but I can't see him winning the contest.

NBA and ESPN poll sucks. Well, not the polls, but the results. Most people vote just for who they like.
