Does anyone like this guy? I like his game but he's trying to be like the new Dennis Rodman or something, kinda annoying. He's been suspended 3 times this season already (a current one in which he got in an argument with a coach) :?

He is a great player but he is just getting caught up in it all at the moment. He has lost his head a couple of times but I don't think he will keep it up. He doesn't want to get a reputation with the refs like Sheed.

He will keep doing it Clinton, that's the way it is. He just came back from a suspension and got another, he can't change so soon, he will come for few games and after that he will smoke that again and do his shitty stuff one more time.

He's pretty good defender and try to impress everyone against Jordan but when he gets like that, he's just worst than Sheed.

I think he's pretty mentally retarded, but he's got skill. But I kinda like the controversy and outlandish things he pulls.

I guess it shows the intensity and dedication Artest has towards the game, his team and to winning. Unfortunately, his emotions are getting the better of him which is more often than not detrimental to a team's success (and as already suggested, probably responsible for his exclusion from the East All-Stars' bench), but you can't deny that he has passion for the game. He just takes it a little too far, and needs some discipline.

it's been a while...

i'm an artest fan. imo, the best one on one defender in the game. i'm amazed by his defensive instincts and especially how quickly he recovers from getting beat by the guy he defends.

artest admitted in slam magazine- "my greatest strength is also my greatest weakness- my intensity". it is unfortunate that artest lets his emotions get the best of him, as he is a very valuable player on his team. i hope this latest incident is the last one.
