that singapore game is just the NBL displaying it can have international flare & support like the nba games they have in asia sort of an unofficial expansion.

On another note the Bullets game against the Breakers was sweet with a 40 point thrashing. Bryant Matthews had a sik game 30pts and hit his free throws as well as some monster dunks/alleys.

Bullets had solid defense for majority of the game and hadn't seen that kind of intensity on a longer spree in an NBL game in so long.

During pre game warm ups matthews attempted a between the legs dunk out of no where, he almost got it too just a few other players where putting up shots and Everstyn was standing right near the basket when Matthews went up for it.

Everstyn sucks!

Sat Jan 29, 2005 5:56 pm

haha give him time to develop his game he will improve with more court time and experience.

Sun Jan 30, 2005 11:46 am

He does have size... but penny is way better- he got hops!

Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:01 pm

yeah thats true....if he could rebound like he did in college I think it was where he got 39 rebounds in the 1 game he will be a great asset.

Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:22 pm

Everystyn got 39 boards in a game? where did he play?

Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:33 pm

correction it was in ABA where he got the 39 rebounds which is a record

Career Highlights:
Holds ABA record for rebounds in a game with 39.

Other Basketball Experience:
Sherbrooke Suns ABA
University of Nevada NCAA

he's a melbourne boy who got over to the USA.

Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:45 pm

I see... nice work lol

Andreww Bogut News: he's been doing quite well in Utah actually...

Sun Jan 30, 2005 12:47 pm

yeah he has it will be good to see a australian player in the NBA again.

Sun Jan 30, 2005 1:11 pm

I hope he plays for the lakers... lol

See the comparisons? Bogut as Luc Longley, Kobwe as MJ and Lamar as Pips... ok, i'm dreaming again! :)

Sun Jan 30, 2005 1:41 pm

hahaha...he will need to go to a team without a ball hogging "superstar" so he can establish himself as a decent player.

Tue Feb 08, 2005 7:55 pm

Thu Feb 10, 2005 11:19 am

Fri Feb 11, 2005 6:52 pm

Maybe we can win all of the final games then!

Fri Feb 11, 2005 7:17 pm

yeah hopefully should be a good game tonight hopefully bryant matthews hipflexa injury isnt too serious to put him off his game tonite.

Fri Feb 11, 2005 9:54 pm

Lost by 2 points man.... Black had 28, Byrant had 18...

Fri Feb 11, 2005 9:56 pm

Fri Feb 11, 2005 10:08 pm

exactly... Bryant for 50 ponits! oh btw... do u know the NBL record total points in one game?

Fri Feb 18, 2005 4:59 pm

Bullets vs Tigers (preview)

crucial game for both clubs who ever wins this 1 gets the home court advantage in playoffs. Brisbane crowd preparing to get really vocal tonight.

injury concerns: Bryants hipflexa injury (will that be the chink in the armour for the Bullets).

Heading off to work (the game) now.

Bullets vs. Tigers (note)

Bryant had 24, 16 and 3 steals. Had 3 dunks, 1 alley oop... did a behind the legs dunk during warmups. Bullets won I think.

(Info from friend)

Sat Feb 19, 2005 11:22 am

bullets won by comfortable margin was a blow out in the first 6 minutes matthews did 3 massive dunks ingame he missed 1 more and did attempt a between the legs at warmups. The alley oop was HUGE the raging 2 hander looked like an angry monkey/gorilla flying through the air from 1 tree to another.
