woah good to see the rock thread still living even without my presence  ......anyway have u guys seen the Fall To Pieces video....geez Scott Weiland is like a bone....that guy needs to spend some time with Shaq to learn how to get fat and blobby (y)

anyway....another band thats pretty neat is Shinedown....their a bit different from most of the stuff thats comin out...u know all the Linkin Park wannabes and the 101 bands that r trying to sound like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin or Nirvana....

I like Simple Man.....its a very calmin song (y)

wat the heck....Franz Ferdinand is awful.....I saw that video of his where they show the inside of his mouth.....I dunno he songs like the Strokes or smth.......

and abt the Strokes...is it me of or is that vocalist even heard.....hes voice is put to low while the guitars are at like mega max volume :?..

thats all for now......keep this thread alive n show em rap fans the power of angry and insane teenagersImage

WTF?

Leave weiland alone. The fall to pieces video was based on his experiences, it was telling how in real life Duff saved his life. Although not under the same circumstances.

Duff took Scott weiland out into the hills in seattle to do martial arts, which is how duff got off the drugs post guns n roses.

Despite all teh drugs he used to do, Scott Weiland is a hell of a singer.

Tenacious D Tribute

This is the greatest and best song in the world... Tribute.

Long time ago me and my brother Kyle here,
we was hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road.
All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon... in the middle... of the road.
And he said:

"Play the best song in the world, or I'll eat your soul." (soul)

Well me and Kyle, we looked at each other,
and we each said... "Okay."

And we played the first thing that came to our heads,
Just so happened to be,
The Best Song in the World, it was The Best Song in the World.

Look into my eyes and it's easy to see
One and one make two, two and one make three,
It was destiny.
Once every hundred-thousand years or so,
When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow
And the grass doth grow...

Needless to say, the beast was stunned.
Whip-crack went his schwumpy tail,
And the beast was done.
He asked us: "(snort) Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but men."
Rock!
Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh-ah-ah,
Ohhh, whoah, ah-whoah-oh!

This is not The Greatest Song in the World, no.
This is just a tribute.
Couldn't remember The Greatest Song in the World, no, no.
This is a tribute, oh, to The Greatest Song in the World,
All right! It was The Greatest Song in the World,
All right! It was the best muthafuckin' song the greatest song in the world.

gee, ooh de flliga goo gee ooga fligoo giggoo ooh fligoo giggoo ge gee oogah
goo gee oogah geegoogegegee, fligoo giggoo,oh flig, oh mama Lucifer

And the peculiar thing is this my friends:
the song we sang on that fateful night it didn't actually sound
anything like this song.

This is just a tribute! You gotta believe me!
And I wish you were there! Just a matter of opinion.
Ah, fuck! Good God, God lovin',
So surprised to find you can't stop it.

God found it! Really I found the best muthafucka to run the show!

All right! All right!

You gotta love Jack Black.

Seether - Your bore

You make me feel like I’m a whore
Like I’m the one who’s there to bore you now
It’s always gonna be this way
Get the fuck away

‘Cause I can’t seem to show you what you wanna see
I can never give you anything you need
I’m sick of wasting time on what can never be
I cannot control you into wanting me

You always wanna steal the light
By stepping on the ones who fight for you
It’s always gonna be the same
Get the fuck away

‘Cause I can’t seem to show you what you wanna see
I can never give you anything you need
I’m sick of wasting time on what can never be
I cannot control you into wanting me

I hate what you are
I’ll break you and leave you scarred
I hate what you are
I’ll break you and leave you scarred
I hate what you are

‘Cause I can’t seem to show you what you wanna see
I can never give you anything you need
I’m sick of wasting time on what can never be
I cannot control you into wanting me now

Into wanting me now
Into wanting me now
Into wanting me now
Into wanting me

Aight peoples lets get this thread going instead of hijacking countless other threads. I've recieved 3 brand new albums that were released in the last couple days or so.

Geto Boys - The Foundation
Daz Dillinger - The Dogg Pound Gangsta LP
Big Noyd - On The Grind (Haven't had a real chance to listen to yet)

The Foundation is the first I've heard from there and I've got to say this album is great, most definetely my favourite of 2005 (Daz Dillinger's album 2nd). The Foundation has some classic songs on there, definetely a album I can listen to from start to finish. Whats your thoughts on these 3 albums ? (If you've got them)

I'll see what I can do, I'm back at school on Thursday so won't be around much. I'll see if I can get ya tommorow or something. If I can't maybe make a request on HHC, caus most of them have cable too.

Matt, what do you use to play your music ?

Because if you use Winamp or Musicmatch Jukebox, then I can compress the album to half its size and it will still play at the same quality.

So the Geto Boys album would be about 36MB, is that small enough?
