Jamal Crawford to miss 3-6 weeks

Postby maltre on Sun Dec 26, 2004 4:27 am

More good news for us Knicks fan

Jamal Crawford's first step is now nothing more than a painful limp and perhaps the first sign of trouble for Lenny Wilkens and the Knicks.

Crawford, the Knicks' second-leading scorer and Isiah Thomas' biggest offseason acquisition, is expected to be sidelined anywhere from three to six weeks with a sprained right big toe, the team announced yesterday.

According to the Knicks, an MRI revealed that Crawford is suffering from turf toe, a soft tissue injury that is most commonly found in football players. Crawford sustained the injury during the third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics. The Knicks said that Crawford will be placed on the injured list before Sunday's home game against Charlotte.

Why the hell did the Knicks sign mediocre-Houston for a maximum contract anyway?

Yeah, because of that a-hole Scott Layden, the Knicks are screwed cap-wise, until that contract runs out. I'm SOOOO glad Layden's out of here!

I believe Allan Houston actually won a dunk contest in high school. He wasn't too bad in the 1994 contest, but nowhere near as good as the three finalists (Kemp, Rider and Pack).

Fuck this........ Crawford was the MVP of the team so far sharing the honour with Marbury.........even though he shoots at low %'s, he saved us out of a couple close games
