NBA YEAR IN REVIEW

Postby Fresh8 on Sat Dec 25, 2004 7:36 pm

IT's nearly New years... so yeah. Why not remember all of the things that happened this year. There were good and bad moments and I guess maybe we copuld all share what we remember best from this year. :D

As a Lakers fan... obviously what sticks out ni my mind is the team that ''could have' been what they were made to be... Karl, Shaq, Payton and Kobe could have won, they let egos get in the way. And then there was lebron James who I'm not that fond of but obviously he was important to the game this year.

Team USA not winning gold is quite significant in my mind, prompting perople that bball is fast becoming an international sport. And then there was that brawl which is the ugly part of the game. The crazy rumours of comebacks and the T-mac Franchise trade stands out too.

What about all of y'all?

I'm a Melo fan...

The biggest story for me has to be Lebron. He has taken over the basketball world. Kg making the conference finals, webber and iverson looking like the old webber and iverson, shaq being traded, yao still sucking, how nobody cares about the kobe/tmac debate anymore, grant hill making a comeback, and the pacers/pistons fans brawl. Alot's happened...

Im a Melo fan too, but its upsetting to see the off-court drama happenin to him.

Hmm biggest memory, prolly the finals.....it was weird cause one my friends said right from the start of the season that it'll be a Pistons-Lakers final and Detroit would win in 6....and it happend

I'd say B as well, which is a shame because it doesn't really give the Pistons enough credit. But with the amount of hype and drama surrounding the 2004 Lakers, it's inevitable that the bigger story is their defeat, not the Pistons' victory.

how did u become a mod? or who gave u the authority?, better question-y?

new member already getting verbally harrassed. i thought mods were supposed to moderate and be of use to members and not downsize members for no reason.

.org's most retarded members

-what r u saying... that .org has lower standards then NLSC? im still wondering how u became a mod... do u patch? do u help people? do u do anything other then bitch and find fault? i would think that mods r supposed to be helpful... u have never done that at either site that ive seen so far. you must be a friend of the mods... because your not the type of person i would see in helping run this site.
