Unless you can think of someone who comes even close to his brilliants around the court. This guy is super passer and shooter. Not only that, but he is a husle guy who get after every ball! What a turn around he has made in Phinx!
Just proofs once again, a team becomes great only with a good PG!

I'd still take Kidd over Nash. Not taking away from Nash, outstanding play but I guess I'm just biased.

Steve Nash is showing he can be at Jason Kidd level now...you really can't say he is better than Kidd yet, cause if you look at the talent around him, it's pretty good, and actually better than what Kidd had in NJ a couple seasons ago..if they reach the NBA championship now, and Nash is sitll dishing out like 15 assist a night, then yeah..

I still think Kidd (maybe not now with the injury and all...) is better than Nash to pass and push the ball and lead the team on the court.
One thing Nash definately does better than Kidd is shoot.

No way, how could you take any PG before nash this season!?
Kidd is brocken, so is selfish Davis/Francis. Wade is the only PG after Nash!
You cant compare Kidd to Nash since Kidd isnt playing?! It would be like comparing Kiss and Magic?! And if you want to compare Kidd to Nash anyway, then just check the stats! (Don't use the excuse "he was injured")

Do any of you even watch Suns games! Nash just runs at diffrent level to the rest of the L. And even though he has some talent, those guys are way too selfish to run alone! Every one of them is a scorer 1st, and they need Nash to give the ball to the right pple at the right time.

No compatition, NASH is the best PG in the L

dont use the excuse he was injured is really a bad think to say, cause anyone who follows basketball knows injuries such as what kidd has takes time. His minutes have been monitared
and besides, the suns have a better supporting cast than kidd has
besides the recently aquired Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson, who else on the nets is considered good?

The suns were a lottery team last season with essentially the exact same squad except for q and nash.

id have to say nash is the best "point guard" in the league, the rest of those guys other than kidd are more like shooting guards playing the point which isnt a bad thing. The way he can take a team full of scorers and forget completley about shooting himself is crazy considering the gunnerish attitude he had in dallas. kidd can rebound pretty well and is a solid defender,Nash isnt so solid in those catagories. Kidd may still be on the same level as nash or better but we'll have to wait and see if he can fully recover from his injury, for right now though nash is the top pg in my mind.

orlando needs to start jameer at PG and slide francis to sg. marbury= NOT a point guard. period. nash=#1 point in NBA, leaving out Kidd because of the injury status

ok i can see you saying kidd is better than him cuz hes injured right now and will probably be alot better by the end of the season, and i can even see you saying starbury is better, is still think he is overlooked a but and is a solid team player. but seriously you putting francis and davis in front of them.... it might be your personal opinion but whenever i discuss stuff on here i throw my biases aside. i dont even like nashy but if youve seen him play a few times youd know what everyone is talking about. hes playing at a breakneck pace when hes in, he looks out of control half the time, but hes thowin crazy dimes. in my opinion for top 3 this year it is Nash, Wade, Starbury. infact now that i think about it you could argue wade has played just as good as nash this year.

what makes kidd so much better than nash? nash jump shot is alot better, nash can dish out more assist than kidd has ever had in any seasons. the most kidd has had is 10.8 and right now nash is at 11.1. i dont see why some people would take kidd over nash if nash has just about the same qualities as kidd. maybe is popularity :roll:

when i watch each of them play, kidd is stoppable to where nash isn't that stoppable because he can hurt you in alot of ways. kidd is at the point, where his jumper won't always go down and he just ain't the same as he was a few yrs back. i also agree that marbz isn't a POINT guard. he is a shooting guard, along with wade, francis and baron davis. i know im biased, but jwill is a good POINT guard and there are few in the league that are good. i wouldnt really call bibby a pg either or arenas.

marbury is 3rd in the league in assist with 8.7 a game
jason william isn't even top 10 with 6 a game
just stop hating on marbury and give in for once. He can score when he has to, and dishes when he needs to.

and bibby is a point guard, he doesn't shoot first or score as much as the others.

Nash is having a 1 season wonder...just like dre did in his 3 year...not like Nash is averaging 20-10-8 like Kidd did.....hes just givin numbers similar to wat Dre did.....

He prolly should get the nod as all-star starter(although that doesnt mean anything).

But still theirs alot of better PG's than The Canadadian Hippie.

Kidd, B Diddy, Francis, Starbury and even Payton is prolly more solid.....

Nash isnt putting up amazing stats....those kinda stats happen now and then but theirs no OH AH's abt it.....If your takin it by season wise...well then Dre was the best PG in the league awhile back....

I think Kirk Hinrich will be getting Nash like stats sooner or later aswell.....so by no way or means in Nash the best PG in the NBA right now.

sorry but saying nash is better then kidd is complete ludacris.....first off kidd has been injured so how can you compare a guy who plays and a guy who dosent play?too the guy who pointed out nash is averging 11. whatever assists too kidds all time high of 10.8 per game, can i point out that kidd averaged that for a whole year, were barley 1/3 the way through the season right now....

and can i also say when was the last time nash had a tripple double? or better yet how many tripple doubles has nash had compared to kidd? kidd is a much more rounded player then nash and unlike nash who has pourus defence kidd is actually a good defender......

and i hate it when people jump on a guys dick after one decent season, kidd has been doing this for years, its like saying kanye west is a better producer than dr dre....
