I know what you mean.... I was like that a few months ago... but recently, I've been practicing for my full license test where you have to be aware and tell the instructor all the hazards you see... so I've kinda been forced to be aware of whats happening on the road, but it has really helped my game, I can see open guys much better and openings in the paint etc.

really? I heard Jason Kidd plays heaps of Madden and NBA Live. Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles used to play video games together heaps when they were team mates.
Otherwise.... hmm... your theory might be true... thats why all those guys before posted saying that they got cut.

kobe4mvp must be the coolest guy on the forum: he's popular and he practices with professionals. he even has an injury from practicing professional ball. he probably is good at nba live too!

The things I need to work on... left hand layups (and basically everything left hand in general) and my handles... I really have crap handles, my free throw shooting has gotten ALOT better, but if you don't make all your layups, you're basically already cut, so that's what I really need to focus on, but I also don't want to look like an idiot turning the ball over because of crappy ball handling..

I need to practice absorbing contact from my right hand side and layup using my left.... I can do it nail most layups the otherway round... but need some practice from my left hand

I never trained trained b-ball, but I played as part of my aerobical excercise program. But I wish I would have, cause I have really fallen in love in this sport. I also had fairly good predispositions while my father is ex-wunderkind and a psychical monster, but that stuped prick didn't want to force me. Now I'm 17, 6'3, very athletic (I don't know what my vertical is, but I can dunk it easily from anywhere and anyhow.), but my primary sport are weights. Oh well, we'll all have our kids to carry the burden of our frustrations .

It's interesting to me how some people are so 'able', yet they just aren't good at basketball. There's some guys I know that play other sports, like baseball for example, and they are really fit blah blah blah, and when they play basketball they really get into it, but I can still beat them because I just know more then them.

Oh. "What could I have become, but the circumstances held me back." It's pretty much in our nature to do such things. I know for sure that it's in mine .
