I didn't watch the game but...Wow!

I can't believe Dirk put up 53, but then again, the Rockets post players aren't very althletic.

Houston got ripped off by the officials again... Did anyone see that blatant double-dribble by Dirk when they were down 1 with under 30 seconds to go? and after that they called a blocking foul on Yao which was clearly an offensive foul that fouled Yao out! :x

Dirk is a great player and it's making me happy to see how well he is playing but my heart beats for the Rockets and that is why I'm dissappointed again. :( The Rockets need to start winning if they want to play in the playoffs. And i don't know if Van Gundy is still the right man for doing that job. However, the season has just begun so there isn't a reason to fall into melancholy. I think we will see much more better games by the rockets, i really hope so.

yea great game to watch
53 by Dirk and 48 by Mcgrady

Mcgrady is doing his job scoring and also contributing with like 6 assists a game i think but again he needs some help like he did in Orlando...he has better players with him but the chemistry is still not there yet, I can't wait till when they get their act together and Yao being a lot more agressive cuz i wanna see where they place in the NBA
but main problem they are having as of now is Point Guard and Yao needs to get more aggressive and more consistent

Actually, the ball was clearly knocked loose out of Dirk's hands during that play. They showed the slow-motion replay and one of the defenders who was covering him (there were two) hit the ball and it left Dirk's hands just a few inches, but it looked clear to me. The announcers must not have been watching that replay because they were moaning about how that call was horrible as well.

But as for the foul-out on Yao, I agree with you.. Dirk was running wildly and just threw his body up into Yao.. it didn't even look like he was going for the basket! That was a ridiculous call IMO, but other than that the refs did an excellent job all game.

Yao definitely shouldn't have fouled Nowitzki a few minutes before that, especially considering he was shooting 19-20 FTs or something. It was his own fault he fouled out, it just happened on an unfortunate call for his 6th.

I'm more disappointed that those two free throws actually gave the mavs the lead... :(
