Even though I have the original series, I'm not sure if I'll bother with LSL8/MCL, at least not until it's been out a while and come down in price. Those old school point and click (or way back in the day, "keyboard arrows and typed commands") games have lost their magic in today's world of 3D graphics and realistic video games. A lot of those old games get a bit childish after a while too, though that's hardly the case with the LSL series.

Since we're on the subject of the LSL series, here's some useless trivia (as is becoming my trademark):

- If LSL7: Love for Sail is anything to go by, had the series continued on from the original the eighth game would have been called either "Leisure Suit Larry Explores Uranus" or "Leisure Suit Larry 8: Lust in Space".

- The absence of an LSL4 is an inside joke regarding Al Lowe's promise that there would never be a fourth game after the original trilogy concluded.

- LSL5 and LSL7 are the only games in which it's impossible to kill Larry - as far as I can tell. LSL5 features puzzles that have a couple of solutions, but only one solution will allow you to get maximum points.

- Important lines to remember:

"Put the bag in the bottle"
