NBA 2K17 vs NBA 2K20 ?

I played NBA 2K16 for about 200–250 hours when it first came out. After that, I played the titles in between only sporadically until 2K20. NBA 2K20 is the game I’ve played the most of all time on both Steam and PSN, with around 750 hours in total.

Back then, I didn’t really value 2K17 that much, to be honest. But now when I look at it, the game feels very different to me graphically. If I remember correctly, 2K18 was on a similar graphical level, but I recall its gameplay not being very good.

I’ve never understood why the series seemed to decline graphically afterward. Also, the fact that 2K17 doesn’t include the WNBA is a big plus for me. The WNBA doesn’t interest me in the slightest. On top of that, having players like Charles Barkley, who aren’t in some of the other games, is a great bonus.

Looking at it now, 2K17 actually feels really good to me. I guess I didn’t appreciate its value at the time.
